The kids had a great time with them.

Not sturdy, a couple of them broke the first day while the kids we're using them to catch minnows and small sunfish. The rubber grips also slide off the metal handle exposing a somewhat sharp edge. They are probably fine for occasional use for a butterfly net but I'm going back to the sturdy ones with the plastic handle.

I bought these for my 5 year old son who loves bugs and has been wanting to try and catch butterflies. They are on the smaller side, so you must be somewhat precise but for the price, these were a great deal. My son has played with it for 2 days straight and the net held up well. He did break off the handle but it didn’t ruin the function since the length can be adjusted on these like an old tv antennae. I love that this was a pack, because when one breaks we have a backup.Recommended for a fun outdoor activity for your kiddos!

These are great nets for the kids. Vivid bright color so the insects can see it coming to get them lol. Net is pretty strong for butterfly, dragonfly, small lizards, and even small fishes. Only one net out of the five had a hole or the seam was falling off but will sew it with some thin fishing line.The extendable pole is a plus so you can adjust it according to the little one. Shorter handle for younger kids. Both the rod and the wire holding the net is pretty strong. After giving out these 5 will get more in the future.Maybe one suggestion is the part holding the net not to spin 360 degree and have a way to twist and lock.

I read a lot of reviews on these stating that they came apart easily at the joints. I bought this package for a camping trip to a mountain lake over the 4th. I got 5 of them for $10 and just hoped they'd make it through the trip. Well I gotta say they were used hard by many kids of different ages, most I didn't even know, to catch frogs and fish. They held up great over 2 days of constant use. The only reason all 5 didn't come back is some kid walked off with one. For $2/each I'd definitely buy again. They are not "heavy duty" but I got what I expected for the money.

My kids go to a school where all the kids like to go down to the creek after school and catch crawdads and minnows with their nets. Ordering it online was easier for me than going to the store. Plus these are nicer than the Dollar Tree ones because they have an expandable arm. The different colors makes it fun for my kids to pick out their favorite color.

Son enjoyed these, but too hard of a swing and it would eject the pieces necessary to hold the rod together. Difficult to put together unless you have all pieces.Overall... Worked great for short use.

I liked that these nets came in a multipack. That was a positive. The nets lasted for two weeks as we hunted for butterflies. The nets could not hold up for a 2 yr old and a 4 yr old. The material is decent, but it is just not durable or strong. The pole for all nets have snapped so I no longer have an adjustable pole or nets. Great for a few weeks if you use them every day. Save your money and look for something more durable.
