How would you use Moonglow? What makes it special? It seem like it’s dark brown.

It works as a shadow color, and because it's not a black, it doesn't kill your local color. It's not really a brown, it's a combination of three pigments. You still have to use care or brighter colors turn muddy, but it's WONDERFUL for most applications in shadow. Also, it granulates if you want it to. Yummy! You can use it alone for cloud shadows or other neutral color objects.

Cobalt teal blue - the essence of many a watercolourist!

Cobalt teal just makes brings a little more joy to my painting. I e never seen a colour like this one, and happened to buy one more, since I had kept it in a safe place, and that could be dangerous. So I just got amazon to send me one more!!Can't do without Cobalt teal blue!

Daniel smith watercolor is one of the dream supplies but I was looking for best deal and which I got in Amazon .This shade is beautiful and even if u put in pans they r easy to reset.This an amazing shade of green and bright too.If u look for transparent colors go for Daniel smith they r non chalky, vibrant, transparent and have amazing shades available.

Mishandling of tube, almost 1 ml paint wasted!

Daniel Smith paints are insanely expensive, they package individual tubes separately to minimize damage, the tube I received from Hakimi stationers was packaged in a box, however the label of the paint in the tube and the label on the box was different. The tube had been removed from it's secure packaging and moved about so when it was opened alot of paint squirted out, at Rs 1599 for 15 ml paint to have wasted almost 1 ml because of bad treatment hurts!! Since the tube is already open one can't even return the product! I ll suggest to buy these from local stores if possible instead of online
