Royal Designs, Inc. Deep Empire Lamp Shade - Eggshell - 8 x 14 x 11

Am very pleased with this lamp shade. The materials used are very good and the fabric both inside and out are lovely. I was hesitant to order a lamp shade on line...have always gone to a lamp shop. But the weather was nasty and I decided to try it since I had the dimensions and knew if I chose a style close to the original, I probably couldn’t go too far wrong. No disappointments! Now I think I will order a few more since my lampshades are over ten years old and are getting tired looking. Thank you!

Lampshades - good quality ones - are a typically pretty expensive. While $40 isn't exactly a steal, I was very surprised by the quality of this shade, for the price. Unless you have crazy, high standards, this shade will more cover your needs. Just received it a few days ago. We'll see how it holds up in a year or two. So far, waaaay impressed.

Absolutely love these lampshades to replace the 30 year old ones and they are high quality and look excellent. I’m really impressed with the quality and being delivered with care.

Doesn't look like those cheep lamp shades you normally get with a lamp. I got this for a table lamp. It is very lovely and matches another the style of another lamp shade I have already on my floor lamp.

Excellent value, timely shipping, well packaged and a quality product. What more could you ask for? Shades can be very expensive and this shade looks like it would cost more than it did. I am a very satisfied customer.

Nice, pretty, I like how it is with the light on. It could have been better joined at some seams; on one, the seam is too thick, not sewn straight and overlaps onto the shade. It is glued down so I can't really fix it - I turned it to the back where it doesn't really show. I got the shade from Warehouse Deals at a discount so perhaps that flaw was the reason it was cheaper, because otherwise it is great.

This is exactly what I needed and ordered. There is one flaw, approx 4 inches long , on one of the panels of this lampshade, which is the reason for the 3 star review. Inadequate quality control.

The customer service helping me figure out what size made all the difference. Without it I would still be searching, buying, and returning lampshades. The shade was well made and of good quality. Highly recommend!!
