Dormer A100 HSS High Speed Steel Jobber Drill Bit with 118 Degree Standard Point, Pack of 10 pcs

It’s a drill. It is made in Brazil which whilst no doubt renowned for it’s high quality engineering was a disappointment to me as I hadn’t realised we had managed to lose UK production of Dormer some years ago. It looks fine but until it has had extended use I cannot really comment further. Hopefully better than the Chinese drills made of cheese and chocolate and put in boxes that inexplicably say Bosch or similar. I will wait and see.

Not had it long enough to know how good it is. The delivered product does not look like the picture IE the gold/brass strips, but so long as it does not wear out too quick so far its ok.

They are good drills at a good price

The description states "(Pack of 10)". I only got one. I have accepted this as it is not a common drill bit size and for the cost it seemed reasonable. Funny pricing though as I paid about £1.50 + postage, which is down from £18 (currently) which is what I'd expect to pay for 10 drill bits. Now it's £4.30 plus postage within a few weeks.The product is fine but I don't like paying for one thing and getting something else.

Good quality, stay sharp for a long time and take a fair bit of punishment before needing replaced.

Expensive for what it is.
