I found this sunscreen by searching on the Environmental Working Group's sunscreen website. Not a product i'm able to use "on-the-go".I've taken to mixing it with a drop of Josie Maran to make it less temperamental to apply, and that seems to work OK.As a woman in her early 30's that's trying to prevent skin aging I've become obsessed with finding the right physical sunscreen. I've tried Paula's choice tinted SPF 30 (great btw if it matches your tone, but rubs off on clothing), Josie Maran untinted SPF 47 (bulletproof, but really greasy), EltaMD SPF 47 (great texture but expensive and I got burned wearing it on a long walk), LaRoche Posay Mineral SPF 50 tinted (stung my eyes), and they were all horribly rated by the EWG. I do care about the environmental impact, toxicity, but also the cosmetic properties of a sunscreen. I wanted something for every day with 30+ SPF that would protect my skin from aging, nourish it, go on easily, have a matte finish, and would not rub off or leave a white cast. Oh, yeah and not overly expensive. Maybe my expectations were too high!?I've made this work for me but if someone reads this who has truly found a holy grail sunscreen that I describe above, please comment and let me know!

Update, August 2018 - The newly ordered version has Aluminum Hydroxide as a second ingredient. I'm avoiding anything aluminum due to its effect on brain. It's a known neurotoxin that has a direct link to Alzheimer's disease. "Skin is permeable to aluminum salts when, for example, they are topically applied. According to researchers at Keele University "It will accumulate in the skin and be transported to sites throughout the body. It is highly likely that the everyday use of sunscreens/sunblocks is an hitherto unrecognised contributor of aluminium to the human body burden of this non-essential metal. Perhaps of immediate significance is the potential for aluminium in the skin to act as a pro-oxidant.""Original Review - Have been searching for a natural, physical, lightweight sunscreen suitable for oily, sensitive skin. Like it because it doesn't contain dimethicone and is not water-resistant, suitable for everyday use. It would have been perfect if had a matte finish - it leaves a slight sheen - and if they make it completely non-comedogenic. But good enough to order a second one.

This is my favorite daily sunscreen. I wear a LOT of sunscreen because I am pale and work outdoors. I cannot use chemical sunscreen because they make me jittery so have to use mineral sunscreens. My absolute favorite sunscreen in Elta MD but it is too expensive to use in the amounts I need. This goes on a bit goopy and white but let it sit for a minute and then rub it in and most of the white will go away. It is thick enough to not melt off quickly in the heat but not so think you feel like you are stretching your skin just to apply it. I love the beeswax and honey smell. Very natural and sweet. NO chemical smell - I am sensitive to smells and this one does not trigger or worsen migraines or headaches. My third favorite sunscreen is Cotz.

I purchased this sunscreen to protect my face naturally. The top of the box it came was a little beat, but it was very minor. The bottle did have a safety screen on it, which I liked. A little goes a long way with this sunscreen! I was able to use a pea size for my whole face. It's VERY lightweight, as advertised, and doesn't leave you feeling oily or like you have to really smear it in-- it soaks into the skin very quickly, and leaves no white residue. Your skin will feel a bit tacky at first, but after a few minutes it completely smooth to the touch! I purchased this as a daily sunscreen; I don't burn, and I have olive toned skin, so I'm not sure how well this protects light complications in direct sunscreen, but, for my personal use, I'm highly satisfied.

Other mineral sunscreens left my face ghostly white (and I am South Asian, so I have dark skin). I had almost given up hope on mineral sunscreens and feared that I may have to resort to chemical offerings. However, I am SO GLAD I found this one. It sinks in wonderfully, leaving a nice glow (not a cast). And a little goes a very long way. This is my go-to sunscreen now.

Excellent product for my ultra-sensitive skin. Not at all greasy, leaves a good base for makeup. I suffer from rosacea and this sunscreen has definitely helped diminish the redness. My skin looks better than it has in years.

I am disappointed with this product, it has a very harsh chemical smell. It is easier to apply than some zinc products but not nearly as soft or pleasant as the body Babo product which comes in the green tube, which is excellent.

The whitest of tints. It’s probably what they give you on the first day of mime school or clown college. I am fair skinned individual and this somehow managed to make me look even more pale. Still 3 stars because it probs protects hella good against skin cancer.

Fantastic, best sunscreen I have ever used. It is light but reliable and moisturizing. Really great
