HAUSHOF 16 oz Travel Mug, Stainless Double Wall Vacuum Insulated Tumbler with Handle & Spill Proof Twist On Flip Lid and Wide Mouth, BPA Free

This Haushof 16 oz mug works amazingly well for me. I am disabled and this mug holds up to my particular needs. This mug has all of the features that I necessarily require except that I wish it had more color options than just the one. Due to my disability, I need a mug with a nice thicker handle, a non-tapered shape for better stability on a desk or table (taller mugs that taper down tend to be easily knocked over), and the lid is definitely leak-proof. There have been occasions where the mug was dropped on the floor from my wheelchair and it did not leak at all (as long as the sipping-hole plug is securely pushed down)! And of course, this cup is great for keeping my coffee and tea hot for several hours! Also, cold drinks cold for the same time or even longer. But, I would like a different color option to keep my tea & coffee easier to keep track of. Please keep providing these 16 oz mugs, but have in different color options! I have tried many other 16 oz mugs but none other meet my needs like these lower-profile cups.

I agonized over which thermal tumbler to get and picked this one because of the other good reviews and primarily because of the big profile and flat bottom - I did not need another thermal mug for the car. This one was to be used primarily for sitting out on my condo grassy space in my lawn chair and being able to set a mug of ice tea or a gin & tonic down on the uneven ground and not have it tip over, which it does beautifully. My biggest surprise was, despite my skepticism due to the apparent thinness of the metal, it keeps a drink cold and ice intact for hours and hours. This thing rocks! Very happy with my purchase.I wanted to add this to my review. I echo one of the other reviewers who said they wished this mug was designed to work for either left or right handed users. I'm right handed, but sometimes if the available side table is on the left I will generally just grasp the body of the mug with my left hand instead of reaching over with my right to pick it up. It would be nice if the opening could swivel to provide a choice. That is my single complaint about this mug. It still deserves all five stars.

UPDATE: FIXED IT If you will look on the handle and snap off the panel at the grooves you will see a small screw. Tighten the screw, snap the panel back on, and your cup will be good as new! See photo.This is perfect with 1 exception - the handle is loose and there is no way to tighten it. Other than that, I love everything about it. The size is perfect, the screw-on lid is perfect, and it fits my mouth/lips perfectly with no drips. I plan to get some sort of epoxy and attempt to glue the handle to reinforce it because so far I have not been able to find another cup that has this type of lid. If this ever becomes available again, I will order another one just like it.

I have a similar mug but love it so much that I bought this one as a backup in case I ever need it. Since I haven't used it, my review is based on tried and true experiences w/ other items similar to this. I love that it's got a twist lid. Since hot liquids will soften the rubber ring inside that's intended to keep it from leaking, I've learned the hard way that push lids will either leak or come out entirely when lifted by only the lid (coffee w/ creamer all over the driver's seat - auto detailer? Yes, hi, do you have any immediate appts?). I also love that it's got a wide base so it's less likely to be knocked over. (Have you picked up on the fact that I'm a klutz yet?) The only thing I wish it had is a rubber bottom so it doesn't slide around on my desk. That doesn't affect the rating though - it's still a great product!

It's perfect size to add creamer without overflowing or right at the top then it spills out trying to tighten it. Handle is long and wide so very comfortable to hold. It's lightweight yet it keeps the hot or cold beverage at it's desired temp for at least 2-3 hrs. I sip so it takes a long time for me to drink it all. I got tired of reheating so after reviewing many of these thermoses and reviews I found this met all my needs. I love the Aqua color and it's as pretty cheerful as in the pic. Great choice and highly recommend.

My 92 year old mother was recently hospitalized and I purchased this mug for her. So much better than the styrofoam cups that are very hard to grip. She absolutely loves it. So easy to grip and the Flathead straws made drinking so much easier. She often needs to be reclined and the shape of the lid on this cup prevents liquids from spilling when it is tipped. She is home now and has requested I order her a second so she can have one for her coffee as well.

this double wall, stainless steel traveler has everything! handle is a new feature for me. usually hold tumblers. the coating is a bit slick, so the handle is appropriate. retro color identifies THIS mug as mine. thick steel, wide mouth. cleaning and ice use is easy. leaks?lightly swirled ice water upside down-no leaks. same when horizontal. glad i bought two! sorry yeti, hydra, hydro, iron, et al... haushof wins!*base does not fit my car cup holder, but sits safely in passenger seat against backpack*

I was looking for a 16 oz insulated cup to keep my coffee hot for at least a 2-3 hours. This one advertised that it would keep the liquid hot or cold for up to 24 hours. Well this one does not perform like that. After a couple of hours my coffee was not hot but only luke warm. I had to transfer any remaining cold coffee to a microwavable cup for reheating. Save your money and don't buy this one if you are looking for a product that performs as advertised.
