Cuban Crafters Cuban Elegance Humidor

I actually make boxes (mostly jewelry) but I consider myself pretty good with wood working and creating a nice looking box. When I got this one......I was blown away! This is undoubtedly the best looking humidor, I've seen in a long time and the price was amazing for one of this quality! The box is everything they said it would be and more. It has a small tray under it that is felt lined and perfect for putting cigar punches, lighter, etc. in it. This particular model has beautiful burl wood mixed with cherry wood. It is all hardwood and I could not be happier with it. If you're in the market for a humidor and looks is one of your driving factors, this one is definitely worth every penny! I would highly recommend this humidor to anyone.

I decided to step up to a bigger, nicer humidor. After a lot of shopping and research, I chose this one. I like the size, the front mounted hygrometer, and I wanted to avoid glass tops and windows. The piano grade finish is really nice. It won't hold 120 cigars unless they're all small. I expected that though since that's pretty much the norm so I went with something rated a little bigger than I needed. I was wanting something that would hold about 50-60 churchills plus an electronic humidifier. This one does thatpretty well. The only problem is my Hydra small won't fit standing upright with the upper tray in place. The humidifier is too tall andprops the tray up which will not allow the lid to close. Choices are remove the tray or turn the humidifier on it's side. I just got the hydra as well and I've heard they should not be turned on their side. Something to keep in mind if you choose to get an electronic humidifier. You'll want one smaller than the small hydra or one that can be placed sideways.The hygrometer is pretty close. It varies from reading 65-72 while the hydra always reads about 70.2. I've come to expect that froman analog and I have the digital too, so it's not a big deal. It's better than some and it's basically a backup anyway.The only real disappointment is the interior bottom is very thin like I'm used to seeing in much cheaper boxes. Other than that, Ireally like this humidor. It's the nicest I've owned and is definitely the step up I was looking for. With a more solid bottom, I would easily give it 5 stars.

Probably my mistake but this was just too large. I'm not sure I could have smoked enough cigars in a year to fill it. Also, the lock on the lid did not work properly. The wood was beautiful and for someone that wanted a display piece this was definitely a looker!

Beautiful but does not seal well in front. Had to add silicone(food grade).

The humidor is good. The construction feels solid and the humidity appears to hold pretty well. The lid fits very snugly.The box itself is made by someone who knows woodworking and the same with the finishing, but the other parts were clearly done in mass as a rush job. The drawer is a little wobbly in its slot which is in contrast to the overall construction of the box. The knob for the drawer was not screwed in all the way, no biggie, I have hands.So I start to season it and bring it up to operating conditions. The hydrometer in front reads way lower than the digital one I put inside. I pull it out to calibrate it ( it just pulls straight forward by the way, just get your fingernail under it and pull). Both read the same in my living room. The reason why the hydrometer reads the wrong RH in the box? The holes for the air flow into the hydrometer are not even remotely close to where they should be, nor are they straight or evenly spaced. These holes were drilled by someone just told to drill 5 holes and was done without any sort of guide or understanding of where exactly the holes should be and why.Guess I need to get my drill out.

Absolutely gorgeous! Much better than the photos portray. I get compliments on this EVERY time someone sees it. They assume it costs 10x what I actually paid.Quality is superb, and everything was as described. BUT, it will NOT hold 120 cigars. I have about 100 in it at the moment, and had to remove the shelves just to get them all to fit with the lid closed. Other than that minor marketing fudge, A++ rating.

Beautiful humidor, I receive a bunch of compliments on the look of this humidor. I have been smoking quality cigars for 20 plus years and value the capability of a good humidor and this is the best I've owned. Worth the price as it actually does what it's designed to do....hold the humidity.
