I pikced this particular version because it has a voltage readout which comes in handy. For example when working on the charging system of my mini excavator, I hooked this up and noticed that the charging system wasn't working. Troubleshooting the problem revealed a blown fuse. I replaced the fuse and immediately after, I saw the voltage rising to around 14.2 volts on the display. Saved me from having to go grab a meter. It also comes in handy to simply know the charge state. This is not a lightweight jump box. It's relatively heavy, but is well made and has performed perfectly for the year I've owned it. Another thing I use it for is when I need 12 volts for testing motors or other accessories. Again, flawless performance. It also holds charge very well. I've charged it once in the last year.
