La Kama Tagine Seasoning 2.0 Oz By Zamouri Spices

This seasoning is delicious, and replaces the extensive list of spices used in tagine recipes. I just add up the total amounts of the half tsp of this and the quarter tsp of that, measure out that amount of La Kama Tagine Seasoning, the same amount of paprika, mix the two, and use it to marinate chicken, beef or pork. All my favorite tagine recipes call for olives, dried fruit, garlic, onion, and preserved lemon, and by the time the marinated meat and sweet/salty/sour ingredients have slow cooked for a while, oh, my! All the flavor, none of the measuring. I estimate using this seasoning rather than the individual spice ingredients shaves at least20 minutes, if not more, off my prep time since I don't have to search for multiple jars in my spice cabinet.Yeah, I'm a lazy cook, and tagine purists are probably fanning themselves in horror, but I'm all over anything that gives me great food with a minimum of effort. This is one of the best purchases I've made lately.

I would have given it a higher rating but it's not what I thought I ordered. It was not Turkish Coffee spices. So, I do use it, but in a different capacity

I ordered this spice to use in tagine dishes. Its so delicious and saves you from using a lot of other spices. Anyone that has not tried lemon chicken in a tagine ought to give it a whirl! I've never tasted anything so flavorful, and the chicken just melts in your mouth! Awesome!

Very good! Spices were fresh tasting. Went to the Zamouri website to get the recipe and cooked the chicken tagine .. everyone loved it!
