Centered Riding (A Trafalgar Square Farm Book) Hardcover – Illustrated, 1 Aug. 2017

I have been riding for long time, and I thought I knew and was doing most of the things discribed in this book. But I was wrong. I have picked up many habits over the years, and this book has given me a chance to realise these habits and correct it. I will surely read it through again and again in the future. Was good buy. 5 stars!!

As a BHS riding instructor I would strongly recommend Sally Swift's Centred Riding. Her methods are hugely effective at all levels. The book is written with a great depth of understanding particularly in regard to both equine and human physiology.

Every horse rider should study this work. We all need to learn and improve our riding no matter how good we think we are.

Very very good book, if you are looking for more confidence on a horseback or realizing how the horse feels when you ride him and are a bit tense, it's the book to read! I found a lot of help from there even though I would just change the way how to summarize an exercise if you want to quickly go back to it (usually before you go to see your horse!)

Centred Riding ( Centered Riding )I got this book after reading lots and lots of others.It has some great descriptions of simple things that we have been told before BUT this one explains 'how to' much betterIt also has some wonderful details I've not heard of before that I feel will really help my ridingI had been told this system was a completely different way to ride and you would have to go right back to the beginning, However I haven't felt this is the casewell worth it
