Beautiful timeline!
I am using this for World History class. It is packed with information to talk about, and student benefit from the visual representation of changes in cultures and civilizations.

This is so interesting. Looks good in an office too!
I framed it and put it in my office. People comment on it and love it. It is fascinating to review. Yeah, yeah, people can claim that it is not as precise as what they want in terms of scale or what have you.But the effect of seeing the history presented in this form is just great for a few minutes. People love it when they enter the office and stare at it.

Well done time line.
Beautiful and well done time line. We were able to laminate this poster without any problems. It is being used for a high school world history class. The kids love the poster. It is colorful and easy to read.

Nice, large, and detailed. But hard to attach
The "map" is large and nicely detailed. The kid is quite interested in history now -- I attached it next to her bed.Deducting a star for it being _very_ hard to attach -- it arrives in a cylindrical tube and is rather thick. The thickness is a blessing AND a curse, because the lighter varieties of sticky things meant to attach things to wall without damaging them do not work. The paper wants to roll back into a cylinder so much, it unsticks from the wall unless you use real heavy-duty stuff. No, you do not need nails, but I am afraid, there will be marks on the paint when (if?) we decide to remove it some day...

Best for all human civilization and recorded history timeframe.
I bought four different versions at the same time, each covered a different timeframe or had different features. This is my favorite. Excellent quality and stuffed with information. Covers recorded history (i.e., documentable). The beginning of civilization. I mounted it by buying a sheet of house foam insulation for fifteen bucks and a spray can of area adhesive (rubber cement?) Whatever you do, have someone help you and DO NOT get glue or solvent on the front. Ink will come off. There are other maps that record pre-history, typically evolutionary maps. But for all of civilization and recorded human history, this is the best I've found.

Better than any timeline I've seen
This chart is well drawn and color-coded. In the areas of history I know, it's complete and accurate, even showing breaks and resumptions of civilizations often omitted from timelines. To my pleased surprise, it includes South America (often omitted from timelines) and Africa (almost always omitted except for Egypt, and the rest of Africa from the colonial period forward). This is the best, most complete world history timeline I've seen.Customer service is great too. My original order arrived, beat up and damaged, after a long shipping detour to who knows where. The seller immediately sent a replacement. I asked if they wanted the damaged item back and they said, no, pass it along to someone else who wants it. I did, and it's now with a 6th-grade teacher who will use it next school year.

Two major complaints
1) The geographic areas by which different civilizations are graphed are not proportional. As just one example, the U.K. and Northern Europe are given the same real estate as the entire western half of Asia. The result is that the geographic extent of some empires (especially the Roman) is greatly exaggerated, while the extent of other empires (especially the Mongolian) is laughably minuscule.2) There is a glaring omission of the Parthian Empire, and I have a suspicion that I will find other civilizations missing with further use.The concept of this poster is very good and, even with these complaints, I do find it helpful in keeping a general sense of world history. However, I think it requires some pretty significant revisions, particularly with regard to its Euro-centric and British-centric distortions.

Best Gift for a History Lover
I bought this for a friend who loves history and maps and it is exactly what I wanted! The quality is great and it came in a protective tube that kept it safe during shipping. The color is vibrant and even though it has a lot of detail it is easy enough to read. I had a hard time finding this particular map so I was grateful to find it and receive in time for Christmas from this vendor. I would absolutely shop here again.

Enhances learning and recall through visual learning
This is one of the most powerful learning tools I've come across. Most children are highly visual learners, but schools move away from this method to text only rote learning. This map brings the world to life with it's 3000 year timeline, so that we can compare movements of peoples, where knowledge first emerged in the world etc.Importantly, it doesn't wash any cultures from view, so the timelines from Ancient Africa, their contributions to science, metallurgy etc, can be seen. Indigenous peoples of Australasia can also be seen. It's a great global schema for placing context around learning. You can probably tell that I'm very pleased with it.

Utile e Chiara. Ottimo acquisto

Amazing Timeline Poster, well woth every penny.
Great wall map, much thicker material than I thought it would be, when rolled out the edges do tend to want to curl up due to being rolled up for a while, but as time goes by, the curls are releasing, not an issue or a deal breaker, especially for such an amazing timeline map. My kid is always looking at it. It was shipped very well too, it came in a poster container so it was totally protected during shipping.
