It supposed to be refurbished but they never finished apparently
One of the corner buttons is always on a pressed position so it's not actually useable. Definitely not worth the price. Honestly I feel a bit ripped off. I wasn't expecting a perfect condition piece but something useable like refurbished usually means.

Excellent shape
Received a bit late but understandable due to the issues USPS is having at the time of writing. Arrived in perfect condition. Package was extremely well packed. Everything works. Casing is flawless. Well worth the 150 bucks, especially when they are going for approximately triple that value for an og cobalt at other sellers in this condition.

Better Than Expected
The console was in great condition and appears to function just fine. It read my Pokémon FireRed without trouble. The only thing I would say is that the D-pad is not as I hoped. My character sometimes moves down instead of right, for example, but if I adjust how I press the buttons, it works just fine. Takes some getting used to. The backlight honestly isn't that great either, but even when the console originally came out it was like that too. Overall it was better than I expected it to be.

Very good product. Came with charger. Great condition with 2 small scratches on screen and case was perfect

It works, but it's not as "renewed" as advertised.
The Game Boy came early, but the power in it is really unusual. Sometimes, the system will turn on just fine. Other times, it won't turn on at all. Additionally, the battery seems not to have been replaced, as it doesn't hold a charge all that well. The light constantly flickers between green and red when it's played (to the point that even touching the power switch while it's on will cause the light to change color) and sometimes will start off red despite being left on a charger without being played (at which point it "fully" charges after 15 minutes, only for the power issue to persist). As I write this review, I have ordered a replacement battery to see if that will fix the issue, which I'm guessing is a depleted or dying battery.

New Sticker is the only 'Repair/refurbish". Misleading
The AGS-001 that arrived was not only defective, but also NO where close to what somone could call 'refurbished'.. This was obviously not tested either as no damage to shipping packaging. While this model's brightness is the lowest of the lot, this device was flickering and extremely bad and screen is unusable, significantly worse than even the original ags-001. R-trigger was frozen out of the box, battery was original 20yrs old and swollwn (trash). Would be nice if they actually cleaned the boards and replaced batteries when charging the same price here as an ags-101 which is superior. Dust hanging out power button port. Will give them one more shot to get it right
