The cat that lives in our home was initially reluctant to enter the cave. However with a few puffs of catnip spray to the interior, he hurried in as if he were collecting a methadone prescription at the chemist. After recieving his fix of catnip he proceeding to slumber within, seemingly having concluded the cave was of no threat. For additional comfort I furnished the interior of the cave with 20" circular sheep skin rug and a silicone heated pad placed underneath the rug. He is undoubtedly content with his new home and I would highly recommend one of these for the cat(s) in your life.For size comparison, the cat is an adult Siamese, and there is clearly enough room for another cat of equal size.

I really like this cat cave but my cat really dislikes spending any time in it. After 2 months of coaxing with food, toys and 2 different types of feliway spray she still won't voluntarily go in it but will happily go into a cardboard cat house that is the same size. In fact if I hide food in there she would rather drag it out to eat. She loves the wool tennis ball that was included with this so I'm sure it's not the wool. I'm hoping that with winter coming on she might use it but it's currently used to store her toys....4 month update - cat has finally gone in and happily using it. But only because I moved her self heating fleece blanket in there. Having looked at other cat caves on the market this one is the one to buy. The design, quality, size and opening is superior to the others.1 year plus update - loves this bed. Have put a woolly sheepskin (approx 45cm round) at the bottom which helps!

My cat jury is out on whether they like this or not - I have three cats and none have shown much interest in it so far but I've only had it a few hours so hopefully they will soon be fighting over it. I personally love it - it's really nice quality and I was really impressed to read (on the label that came with it) how it is a fair trade and handmade item which almost justifies the expensive price ;-) It looks fantastic, especially when compared to the hideous cat beds on offer elsewhere so if aesthetics are your thing go for it!

The slate grey cat cave (really more denim blue/grey but that was fine for me) looks kind of like a giant pebble. With a cat in it.The overall size was the first thing that surprised me - my cat is quite large (Scottish fold/ Ragdoll mix) but he has plenty of room inside to get into comfortable lounging and sleeping positions.The wool felt is thick and solidly built with no seams to come apart at, it feels very robust and though I've not had it long I expect it to last - my kitty is a chewer though so I'll report back if he manages to gnaw any holes in it!The main thing though, and most important to me - is that it's fully enclosed apart fron the entrance hole, and so will keep the cat warm as the nights start to cool, and certainly blocks any draughts so he should be able to sleep in comfort. It being enclosed on all sides also means your cat will feel secure, so all in all, a great design.Mr. Cat certainly seems happy with it anyway, he does like to vary where he sleeps though, so I'll give it a few months and if he's still using it, I'll look into buying more of these clever kitty caves!

I have bought 3 of these and although quite expensive they are beautifully made and I'm sure will last a long time. I got the Angler Fish which is brightly coloured and fun, the Grey Shark and the koi, which is a dull orange.My three cats love them! Which absolutely astounds me, they all wanted to get in straight away no messing about which caused a few squabbles, hence the fact I've ended up buying them all one. They have also had great fun playing in them, clawing and jumping on them, the beds are amazingly versatile and go back to their right shape after. They are so interesting looking and different compared to other cat beds as well. There is no soft cushion in the bottom ,the base is quite think and padded anyway but it's easy to add a blanket if your cat would prefer. A free felted wool ball is included in every bed which is a nice addition and my cats think they are wonderful.I'm getting a kitten next week so it would nt surprise me if I end up buying another one, they are well worth the money and arrived well packaged and quickly. It would be great to have a few more fish designs or a mouse.

This is a beautifully made warm bed for a cat (or even a small dog). Draught-free, with thick and soft material, it is clearly cat heaven and my cat never gets out of it when he is in the house. Previously a cat that had its own cushion on the sofa next to me (and which he would not deign to sit on unless it was the right one - "not the velvet one, you dolt! You know it is the one with the pattern. Do you want the claws in your thigh again?), he has now chosen to desert me in favour of this bed. Shame about that but at least I now have peace and safety in my own front room and am no longer bullied by a furry tyrant. Happy cat = happy me. Definitely worth 5 stars.

My cat has always been very picky with her bed and we have wasted so much money on unloved items, but she went in this cave within the first five mins since it arrived and constantly goes back in for her naps. It doesn’t come with a padded bottom but you can easily fit in a folded blanket or even a seat cushion to make it extra comfortable. It is very well made with quality wool and the bonus is that, unlikely most of the other cat beds, it looks very modern and stylish so it is not an eye sore to put in your house.

This arrived quickly and was in use immediately - my kitten was so fascinated by it, she jumped straight inside to play. It's somewhere she loves to sleep in (I've put it on a low table next to a radiator) and she also jumps onto it, squashes it down and curls up inside like a regular cat bed. She plays in it, wriggling around in circles, chasing her tail like an eel in a bucket. Great product! Will look into getting some more for the other 2 cats.

The majority of cat owners out there have experienced buying a cat house, cat tree, or other cat habitat of some sort that turned out to be ridiculously overpriced for the quality. This is NOT one of those products.The moment you pull this cat cave out of the bag, you will marvel at how unique and nice it is. It takes mere seconds to form it into the cave shape, and it looks great almost immediately.The moment I felt the wool, I knew our cats would love this cave. It’s exactly the texture that they are attracted to. Sure enough, they were sniffing it immediately. What sealed the deal for them was the darkness that the shape and colour (slate grey) provide inside. You could truly see the excitement on their faces as they got inside.Although both of them can technically fit in a single cave, it’s cramped. I think we’ll likely purchase a second cave if they find it challenging to share this one. Although pricey, this cave is a worthwhile investment.

My cat took to this right away. I wasn't sure where to put it in the room because we have limited space. I finally reluctantly decided to put it on a shelf system at the top. I didn't think she would find it but she found it almost immediately. She loves it. She is in it almost everyday. I definitely recommend it. It's a good size and keeps it's shape.

I was hesitant to buy this since it's so pricey - but because of the good reviews (and heyclaire on youtube) I bought it anyway and am so glad I did. My cats love it! They took to it right away. They alternate between sitting inside it to sitting on top of it.

It always takes cats a bit of time to warm up to smething new. The egg was no different. It's not like he always goes in there to sleep because he has a few favorite spots. But now that he's used to it, it's one of his favorites. I like that it is felty, so I'm sure it feels cozy for him. It also is a bit cave-like which no doubt feels secure.

Our little cat Bella LOVES her new cat cave! She's always looking for new hiding spots around the house, and often leaves a nice dusting of cat hair behind. She took to the cat cave within an afternoon and now it's her go-to spot. She's used it both ways - lying inside the cave and on top of it (it can be flattened out into a little bed), depending on her mood I suppose! It's very easy to clean, just a quick vacuum to get rid of the hair (we don't mind, especially if it means less hair on the furniture). We bought the grey one, and love that it fits right in with our living room decor, which is great since it looks like we'll have it for a very long time (the quality is amazing).

My cat loves sleeping in this bed. It is very well made, worth the money spent. A great little cat hide away.

Kind of pricey , But when you see it and see how well-made it is you can see why. My cat likes it and it goes well with the Decour in my house.

It's a wonderful design and by two boys quite like it. It's difficult to find cat "stuff" that doesn't seem like clutter. This is more like art.

Our two cats love this pet cave! And the little ball that was included too. Excellent product made with safe, natural material. Really love this fun, cozy product!
