This was the worst piece of technology I have ever purchased. I honestly think the reviews are fake to boost sales and I fell victim to it.1. The instruction manual is printed in tiny font and requires 20/20 vision in a well-lit area. The instructions are absolutely terribly written and totally incomplete.2. The box has fake logos of trademarked brands like YouTube, Netflix, etc. The unit itself has a fake G on it to mimic the one on Google's Chromecast Ultra.3. The instructions had me jumping through multiple hoops and terribly designed screens just to connect it to WiFi, and even then, it didn't work. If you want to know how set up should be done...take a look at Apple TV.I will be returning this Chromecast-wannabe. Don't fall for the reviews.

This is an excellent product. It will not be superimposed on my Chromecast device. I have looked through many different products that I have purchased and some said that their devices were not available for Netflix or YouTube. I don’t seem to have those issues with Anycast. The overall image quality is great or even better. Some changes have been made to the instructions for set up for Samsung Galaxy S8. In Anycast Mode: 1 for Android, to enable wireless on S8 you must access Anycast through screen mirroring in the settings rather than screen mirroring rather than through screen mirroring wireless display. In DLNA mode you will be asked to press the FN button again. The Anycast app in the Google Play store doesn’t suit me. I tried the Chromecast app on my S8 and it finds my Anycast device. By selecting Anycast as mentioned above there is no need to use QR codes. I’m not sure if this works on other android models, but I hope this will help others with their purchases and set up process.

I was looking for a way to send videos from my Android phone to my 2015 Samsung Smart TV. I use Netflix and my TV has and old, outdated version. I also use Prime Video and Kodi which my TV doesn't have. This Chromcast allows me to watch both of these and more on my TV. It was simple to install. I plugged it into my TV's HDMI socket and the power into my home's AC outlet. Then installed Google Home on my phone and followed the instructions. It took some fiddling with the programs but it works great. I read in one of the other reviews that it didn't work plugging the power cable into the TV's USB port. They were right and wrong. The Chromecast uses a 1 amp power supply. My TV has 2 USB ports; a 1 amp and a 0.5 amp. When I used the 1 amp port, it worked the same as plugging it in to an outlet. Now Netflix works simply as per the instructions. However, to get the others to work needs a little ingenuity. I have an HTC 9 phone, but this should work with others. I start Google Home first. Then go into my phone's settings to where the VPN and data exchange settings are. My phone calls the setting "HTC Connect". It tells the phone where to play the media. When you choose it, it lists the Phone, DNLA devices and the Chromecast. When you pick Chromecast, the phone's screen gets played, in real time, on the TV along with the phone. Now, anything you see on your phone gets played on your TV also. It's like using a phone with a 50 inch screen. Along with movies, you can stream music, photos, games, etc. I will be getting a new phone in a few days and will update these instructions when it arrives. I purchased a new SAMSUNG 9 phone. And it works with Chromecast just like my HTC phone did. You can stream with supported apps like Netflix or share using settings. The setting is under "Connected Devices". It is called "Screen Sharing" and Chromecast is listed like it was on my HTC. Obviously, I cannot promise that it will work with all phones, but it seems likely that it will，It's a very practical product.

 This wireless display dongle is better than I expected. it is easy to be installed. It works as promised, but not expensive.

 The video on my Samsung S9 phone YOUTUBE can be perfectly streamed on TV without carton. The connection is very simple and easy. Thank Amazon for offering such a good quality product!

After receiving the product, I used the presentation and video exchange. I can use and synchronize the video with the Apple computer. I am very satisfied with it. I will recommend good friends to buy it.

Overall it is a decent dlna device and a low cost solution to replace the cable to project phone or PC to TV. I have been using it for 2 weeks and pros are,1. it is very easy to set up, even the operation menu that comes with the device is crap, just follow the screen instruction and pretty intuitive.2. works on Win 10 PCs and Phones, just like adding an extra display without cables.3. low cost, the device is like the price of a HDMI cable.Cons:1. the menu was made very badly, very difficult to understand and read.2. the micro usb cable comes in the box is a bundle of wifi adaptor and power supply to the device. it is way too short and I can not replace it with other microcable, I happened to have a HDMI extension cable in my home, and I end up finishing the connection successfully. It would be very frustrated if I don't have that extension cable. it is a significant design defective.3. this device does not work with the old 720P TV, I guess it does not adjust resolution automatically.4. when connecting with phone, it does not work with Netflix, the sound, subtitle, controls button and everything works on the TV but not the video. Right, I am not kidding, no video!!!5. When streaming some 1080P video, it still has lag and mosaic from time to time.In short, this device is a low cost and low end solution to project phone or PC screen to non-smart TVs without physical cables, but if you are looking high quality video audio streaming, it might not be you best choice.
