Peace of mind
We have two autistic preschoolers and in our home have windows that open in for easy cleaning, which make it easy for them to escape if they put forth effort. These locks were very easy to install and gave us much peace of mind knowing our kids could not get out thru their windows.

Would never buy or recommend
The locks jam and don't easily lock or unlock. Completely useless and downright dangerous in a fire. Both locks in the package were like this.

Works for my two STUPID CATS
I use this for my room door it also work for me. Very useful stuff cause my two cats always “big open” my room door. Now they can only push a little bit.
