I was really attracted to the idea of the bamboo lid because personally I really don’t like the taste of plastic/silicone lids with my coffee. Then I saw that they give a proportion of the products to a marine conservation charity as well - double win!It’s been really good - no issues with taste and the sleeve is also nice and think so doesn’t get too hot when I’m carrying it to work. I got a second one for my boyfriend too.It’s also worth saying that the box it’s delivered in is nice and study and keeps the cup from getting squashed...(I got a similar one for Christmas last year but the front of the box was open to show off the cup, so it was quite dusty and the box was squished out of shape.) I have used a few in the past but wanted one with a proper lid, and these ones are great. The whole thing is secure and never leaks even when I am fighting my way through a busy tube in the mornings. They do not burn your hands when carrying them, yet keep the coffee piping hot and are great for warming cold hands up on a frosty day. Additionally , because they have a lid it means that whenever our bouncy dog knocks them over nothing is spilt so I can leave my coffee cup wherever I want now! Perfect! Thank you ecoMar.
