Good outside burner to eliminate cooking odors in house
Bought this burner to be used as an outside burner to eliminate cooking odors in the house. Installed it in an old barbecue so I can move it, leave outside and have the propane tank connected. Works great if you need to cook bacon or fish. The single burner specs are 2.5kw, about the power of a large electric coil on your electric stove. A couple of things I learned after using it. It basically burns at maximum power. You can turn it down but not a whole lot. So if you want to simmer something, it probably won't work and I would recommend a stand-alone electric burner coil. Also, you will need to use matches to light it. I purchased a gas refillable lighter and that works great. There is no safety thermo couple that turns the gas off when a gust of wind extinguishes the flame. So stay with it while in use and turn the propane off on the tank and the burner once you are done. Otherwise, the burner is great. Made of sturdy cast iron.

Cheap junk.
This is a cheap chintzy piece of crap that sells for far more than it's worth. Constructed of poorly matching cast iron and the gas fitting is not brass but rather some flimsy pot metal type of material that breaks very easily. Don't waste your money on this as there are far better options available for less money.

cast iron burner
It is simply constructed but structurally sound and works very well, especially low flame control for simmering situations.

Good price but need better QA/QC - Update
Received the item on time, which is good. The unit looks decent, but the legs appear in poor quality. One leg has a broken tip and another needs to be trimmed better. The mounting slots are not even, some big some too small to put the bolt through. Also, one set of bolt is not working (appears to be wrong thread on bolt). I am hoping the manufacturer do better QA/QC before deliver to the market. Overall it worth the money.I am in contact with the vendor to have this resolved. Will update with the results. This is an update to the review above. As soon as vendor received my e-mail about the defective legs, he immediately contacted me and offered to send me a replacement unit. The replacement unit arrived in 3 days by FedEx. I am vary happen about Boshan's customer service, and decided to give them 5 star. With buying confidence, I will buy from the vendor again.

Not bad, but probably wouldn't buy again.
This thing looked good online and it came with a burner which seemed like a sweet deal. When I got it put together I realized it's not such a great deal. The legs attach in a pretty bad way, and I'm worried about it coming loose. The coating on the thing burned off immediately above the burner (yes, I expected this.) and left a bunch of soot, as well as produced some pretty foul smoke while it was happening. The "regulator" is just a screw, and doesn't seem to do a great job. Also it's not as powerful as I'd have liked. It works for now, but I'll probably "upgrade" at some point. This thing just doesn't have a lot of power to it.Pros:- Cheap.- Works.Cons:- Not a lot of output.- Very poorly manufactured.- Coating isn't great.- Assembled unit feels flimsy.- Not a great design.- Pretty poor value proposition.Other thoughts:- I've thought about replacing the regulator, but I don't have a lot of knowledge in the area. I'll do some research and see if it's even worth doing. I'm pretty disappointed with this overall, as I bought it to use with my carbon steel pans and wok, but it barely has enough output to use the very bottom of the wok. Not super useful in general. Does a good job with cast iron and carbon steel pans in normal sizes (up to 9 inch) if you're trying to sear meat though.

I got it to part out... They are Low Pressure Burners
I ordered 3 of these to part out. I needed the Low Pressure Burner/Valve assemblies to maintain my Propane Food Warmer.I see reviews about how this doesn't get hot, but that is because it is a Low Pressure Burner meant for a stove. It maybe is 11000 BTU... IT IS NOT one of those High Pressure Turkey Frying Crawfish Boiling Turbine Jet Sounding Burners putting out 10 Billion BTUs that people might expect.I think it serves its purpose nicely, and will get more to keep as spares.

Does not last
One Year of use and it’s falling apart. Even when I keep it inside my back shed.
