Good for exam preparation
I bought this book for my son who is going to sit 11+ exam in September. He finds the questions are combination of easy and moderate difficulty. It's a good practice for him. At the back of the book are the answers with explanation. I find it very useful and I can explain to my son for questions that he got wrong. This is a really good book and I always use CGP for 11+ for all my 3 kids.

Reasonable reasoning practice material
This is a nice set of verbal reasons books with an answer booklet included. Our 10-year old daughter didn’t mind to do these tests and quite enjoyed the puzzles. Which probably indicates they are a bit too easy. Though the tests get progressively harder. I find the tests quite dull and uninspiring. Our daughter who reads a lot, already has a good grip on verbal reasoning though these books were recommended to us by her tutor. She worked through them and they learned her the format of questions and test to be expected at school and at the various despicable entrance exams at equally private schools. She spent a couple of hours on this per week. And I guess it lifted here confidence somewhat. We spent a small amount of time afterward checking the results and to find where here issues lie. But frankly it is all pretty straightforward and far less interesting/demanding than the maths and reasoning practice tests that we have also bought.
