Got this for my sister she loved it only thing wish I read more into it I didn’t realize it didn’t come with the blades but that was my mistake overall great razor

This blade is really light, due to the plastic handle and light metal blade. It's very easy to replace blades, although the first time I did have to cram it in because it was too tight for the blade to fit. Works great for shaving and lineups.

Horrible piece of junk! Buyer beware: I bought two of these for resale in my shop. Both were returned by customers because the blade you insert doesn't sit evenly in this straight razor holder. I tried multiple blades, from a few different brands, and in each razor holder -- the same thing occured. It's as if the notches to support the razor are not horizontal, balanced or aligned on the same level, so about a 1/16" sticks up higher on one side than the other. It was an embarrassment to have customers bring them back, and for me to try to "explain" a reasoning. In the end, I blamed the manufacturer and had to refund their money. I made nothing from these sales and am out the money I paid for these two pieces of junk (as the return window closed within a month). My advice: don't buy cheaper straight razors.

Its a good razor. I had one before (3 years from Sallys beauty) and when it was time for a new one I went back to magic.

Is great but DOES NOT come with razors just to let you know. Make sure you buy your own razor blades as it is just a blade holder pretty much and helps prevent cuts and scratches.

Just what I wanted came quickly.

This is the only shavette that feels as close to holding a legitimate straight razor as possible. The Magic is superior to any other shavette I own (Parker SRX, Sedef, and Utopia Care) but understand that it will not be the same as a real straight razor in many ways. Keep in mind, I don't do simple touch ups/line ups. I use straight razors to full-face shave and will use a shavette for travelling or when personal clients ask for it. In my opinion, even a cheap Utopia Care does fine for touching up/lining.The girthier shank and "wedge grind" make this shavette SO easy to shave with. The Parker and the Utopia are geometrically identical and there is no "grind" so you are weilding a 1" square blade and can easily cut yourself when placing the blade on your face whereas the Magic has a more pronounced wedge shaped grind which allows a more natural and comfortable angle on the face.I've read reviews on the Parkers, Sedefs, and Utopias and I'm shocked/suspicious of how people seem to like them. I think if they tried the Magic they would ditch their other shavettes just like I did. I hate being that person that says "this is the best" but realistically I go to this shavette 99% of the time. The other 1% belongs to my crappy Utopia whenever I cut my nose hairs or ear hair.

It's 'cheapness' allows for more 'flex' when contouring the neck...Barber by trade, I own a few, because they break.Thankfully they are $10.I use the Persona blades...
