Beautiful looks, but started to leak after a few months of use

The size is perfect for a small bottle of chili oil that my husband used to dribble everywhere. This container keeps it all neat and tidy! Would buy it again.

I tried many similar products in the past, mostly popular, traditional Chinese and Japanese dispensers, while living in the Far East. Only one of them was genuinely drip resistant. It was beautifully made from porcelain, had a rubberized spout and bottom, and a price tag to match all those niceties. It seemed irreplaceable after I broke it until I stumbled on this less elegant perhaps, but *entirely dripless*, dispenser. Its vertical, metal spout has a little flange, a "lip" if you will, which does the trick of eliminating any leftover drops. Ingenuous! I only wish the dispenser was made of white porcelain to match my tableware. But oh well, not all wishes are meant to be fulfilled. If you are looking for a truly mess-free soy sauce dispenser, you have just found one. Keep in mind, though, that the glass container is smaller than it may appear on the screen. Its usable height is just 2-1/4", which means more frequent refills. Strangely enough, and contrary to many reviews of similar products, the plastic, threadless cap, at least on my dispenser, is tight enough to hold the weight of the filled dispenser by grabbing the cap. I read the reviews and saw some people reported that it leaks. There is a tiny breather port on the cap, so if your pouring it with the breather port at the 6 o’clock position it will leak. The spout is designed to pour with the breather port at the 12 o’clock position. Without the breather port the flow will stop once enough vacuum is created while pouring. The o-ring seal under the cap looks fine and should not leak there, if the cap is screwed on with care.The cover for the cap is nice, and ensures the soy sauce doesn’t evaporate if unused for a long period of time.

This is a nice dispenser for soy sauce. It is a little smaller than I had hoped but looks great. It is super easy to clean and fill. But it does leak if you do not hold the pour spout correctly. But the leaking is just a few drops. But those drops can get into lid and make bigger mess. But way less messy than the bottles the soy sauce comes in. The quality is great and the price is great.

It arrived in perfect condition. At first I didn't know the right way to pour it, so it leaked a little bit. Then I found that I had to turn the taller side toward the plate/bowl then pour, and there was no more leak! I'm very happy with my purchase and bought couple more in different sizes for my sesame oil, homemade salad dressing, and cooking oil ;)

I love it! It comes in good condition. I love that comes with a cover, and I also love its smaller size (about half the size of the soy sauce bottle we usually find in the market). I would say this is a size for small family (like 1 - 2). Plus it's very beautifully made. I'm very happy with my purchase, will buy again!

I searched through several dispensers and read many reviews before I bought this one.It has a small edge at the top of the pouring spout which prevents dripsThere is an o-ring inside the capThe cap is clear plasticThe cap is snug when you put it on, but not enough to hold the weight of the dispenser, be sure to hold the glass bottom when picking it up.It costs a little more, but is worth it. I bought 2, one for my soy sauce and another for my vanilla.I wish they made a taller one for balsamic vinegar

exactly what was expected plus

Use it to hold olive oil instead of soya sauce. The glass is thick and sturdy. The spout cap is plastic but has a nice metal covering. The spout is metal and does not drip. The covering cap is plastic but it is also fairly thick and sturdy. There is a small air hole on the side of the spout cap that sometimes leaks a little bit of the oil but is very minor. Is mailed from Japan and arrived fairly quickly considering it had to travel such a great distance. Overall a very nice quality product that is a little pricey but I found it to be worth it.

Pours good but a little small

しょうゆ差しとして使用、蓋が出来る物を探していたので期待したが、半分以上入れると漏れる構造上半分以下で使用すれば良いのかなと思ったが半分以下でも注ぎ口が分かりづらく慣れないと上下がズレてかと思うが、調子良くない、期待外れでした、使い方の問題では無いと思うのですが

これまでプラスチック製のものを長年使ってきましたが、具合が悪くなってきたので、買い替えました。その際、液だれしないことと、デザインで本品を選択しました。テーブルに置いても違和感のない飽きのこない感じかと思います。ただ、使い始めの頃は蓋とビン本体の部分から薄らと液漏れがありました（ポトポト漏れるのではなく、ティシュでなぞると液漏れが判る程度）。勿論、空気穴を下にしない様に気を付けていましたが。使用後１カ月ほどが経過しましたところ。その様なことは全く無くなりました。多分パッキンの素材・厚さに問題があるのかなとも思っております。細い注ぎ口ですが、うっかりすると、多めに醤油が出てしまいますので要注意です。パッキンが更に改善されれば☆５つとしてもよろしいでしょう。(追記）液漏れは一時収まっていましたが、空気穴に注意して使用していても、また漏れるようになりました。やはりパッキン、ネジの具合がだめなのか？多分金属部分と黒いプラスチックの微妙な隙間かとも思われます。返品しようかと思ったのですが、購入から１カ月弱が経過したので返品も出来ず困りました。最悪でした。商品販売前に企業でテスト使用をしたのかな？従って、☆４つから１つへ変更しました。
