I've had this lamp for over three years now, and it still works perfectly. The Clamp is still super strong, and I've never had a problem with it slipping off. The neck also is still holding up well, and stays directly where I put it. It hasn't ever fallen out of place, which I love! The light itself is awesome. The different ambience settings are super great and useful too, but most of all is the brightness setting. It allows you to dim and brighten the light, but I just love the range it has! When it's dim, it's perfect for my sleeping roommates(I've had 6 roommates with this lamp and I usually am the last to turn in, but the dimmest setting has never bothered any of them.) and when you want it to get bright, I'm always suprised by just how bright it can go! All in all, a very well made lamp, I definitely reccomend!

Other lamps that I've bought had clamps that couldn't open wide enough for my bedframe, so this one is a better match for me in that respect.As a lamp, it works well -- good variability on the light levels; clamp holds tightly and solidly; the snake tubing that holds the lamphead up has not broken or loosened despite much repositioning (pretty much a few times daily, since I got it 3/4 of a yr ago).One caution -- the power cord terminates in a USB connector, NOT an AC plug... and IIRC (it's been a while; I could be misremembering), there is NO USB power adaptor included with the lamp. If my memory is right, you need to already have a USB socket free -- and I've never tried plugging this lamp into my computer to see if it works that way. I use the little external USB adaptor that also powers my fone, and has two sockets.Fine product, especially at the price; would buy again.

The light itself is fine and is a step up from the clamp book lights I’m used to. My only complaint is that it only has a male USB port for the power cord. I had to scrounge up an old phone charger block to plug it into the bedroom wall outlet. This made the whole product seem cheap because I’m sure almost everyone would need to plug it into the wall. Why cut a corner here?

I was looking for a piece that was the right size for my application. This lamp also had many of the features, led, USB connected, AND not to be overlooked, AND not on all "like" product, (confirm for yourself, or take my word for it,) the location of the "on/off" switch. I wanted it high on the cord as close to the clamp and operating portion as possible. I dislike having to fumble up and down the length of the cord to find the switch. My wife has an old desk tensor lamp and you have to practically crawl under the desk to turn it on and off. Now that I have tested this lamp with satisfaction, I might spoil my wife and spring for one of these Vekkias to replace the tensor.

Mine lasted 1 year and 4 months. It was a good little light, and served a useful purpose, but it's dead now. Very light use in a clean environment. Used maybe used 2-3 times per week at most. I realize any of these USB powered lights are not meant to last. The LEDs may last for decades, but the power supplies that get the juice running will certainly not last very long. It's part of the design. Designed to fail. Now I'm searching for a better replacement that plugs into a 110V outlet with a simple On/Off switch and replaceable bulbs. Certainly more money, and hopefully longer life...hopefully.

I absolutely love this lamp! I bought it for my low to medium light requirement plants and so far so good! It's been a couple weeks and the plants that are under the original one I purchased are incredibly happy and growing much more than I expected them to. I was so pleased with this lamp, I purchased a second one for my other plant shelf. The brightness settings and color modes perfect for my needs. If I absolutely had to give one complaint, it would be that there's no wall adapter included. (But it states that there isn't anyway, so I guess that would just be a little nit-picky.) I'd be more bothered if the lamp wasn't so perfect for what I need it for!

I was hesitant to purchase this product after noticing many of the reviews mention that the light begins to flicker. Crossed my fingers this wouldn't happen to me, but it did. Began on the blue light setting first, then the middle one, and now I can't even use the warm light setting because all three settings flicker. It is not pleasant nor relaxing or effective to read by strobe light, and this defect appeared within the first 10 uses. Threw this product in the trash - save yourself the headache, time & money.

I bought 2 of these initially for my kids to have at their desks and/or to clip onto their bedposts for school and for reading in bed in the evening. I liked them so much I decided to buy one for myself to have at my own bedside, and it is just perfect. I like to read in the evening, but my husband usually falls asleep before me, and this light doesn't disturb him or keep him awake while I'm reading. I highly recommend this light for everyone that likes to read in the evening or just needs to have a small lamp at the bedside or on the desk.
