High quality, very easy to use app and good value
I bought this because my old Omron RS6 was left in the office at the start of lockdown. The RS7 seems to be an evolution of the RS6 with BT pairing and an app to store readings and show trends to make it easier to track and analyse results. Overall impressions are very similar to the older RS6.Good:Silent and vibration free, it really is spooky to think that the wrist band is being inflated when there is no noise or vibrationVery simple to useThe app is intuitive, pairing is very simple and it does help to track resultsClear displayNicely madeBad:Not a lot, there are cheaper alternativesStill some debate on the accuracy of wrist band typesProbably the main concern for many is whether a wrist band type is accurate enough. I see some negative reviews here but I find both this and my older RS6 give results closely aligned with arm band types and results taken by my GP or in hospital. I'm not saying it is absolutely accurate, but it is closely aligned with medical grade devices used by doctors and hospitals and I am confident that the results give a good indication. The flip side of course is that a wrist band type is much more compact, portable and unobtrusive. Omron supply a hard shell carry case and it is easy to slip it into a pocket or lap top bag or such like. The big difference between this and my RS6 is BT pairing with a phone app. Previously I wasn't a fan of connected BP monitors as it seemed a bit of a pfaff and more trouble than it was worth, but I have to say pairing was extremely quick and simple and the phone app does work well so it is a function I would now recommend. As with most Omron products, you can get cheaper alternatives, but Omron generally have a sense of quality and dependability which is worth paying for in my experience, and when I think of what else I spend money on and the importance of BP monitoring this isn't especially expensive.Highly recommended, 5*.

Fantastic blood pressure monitor
Fantastic blood pressure monitor, very quiet and good quality materials. It's easy and comfortable to use, doesn't overly squeeze your wrist. I can recommend it to anyone who needs to keep an eye on blood pressure!

It works well
First of all the product did not arrive shrink wrapped and the box was a bit battered on the edges so I suspect mine was a return even though I paid the full price and not the cheaper returns price that is £30 less.I already had an arm cuff BP monitor but I could never get readings, I suspect due to having extremely wide biceps, so thought I'd try a wrist one.I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to connect, take a reading and have the indicators to show arm was at the correct height. The readings itself are probably right, I still got the hypertension stage 2 which is in line with all my other readings on other BP monitors used, including at GP offices. Now I need to figure out how to get it back down to normal levels...

Compact, tidy, accurate and portable
I have been using an Omron BP monitor for years until it was dropped and damaged recently. I always had to use the upper arm cuff which oftentimes was very uncomfortable when operating as it tended to squeeze my arm tightly as if a boa constrictor were wrapped around my arm. My wife hated using it for this reason. However, this product attaches to the wrist and you would not think it was operating such is it’s gentle approach to measurement. It is really compact, comes in its own hard plastic case, is very easy to operate and does not squeeze your wrist too tightly when operating. I have to say that I barely notice it operating such is it’s quietness and gentleness. Measurements are quickly reported and can be synchronised to your mobile phone via the Omron connect app. This is very easy to use, too. For me, now, taking BP measurements is a breeze with this unit and I’m glad I purchased it instead of a traditional upper arm cuff model. Would wholeheartedly recommend this RS7 monitor.

Impressed
Works well and the iphone app is great.Simple instructions and easy operation…once I realised it goes on the left arm 😃Bluetooth updating is quick. This will be great for those like myself who need to keep and eye on their BP whilst travelling.

Easy to use but gives higher readings compared to an upper arm device
Neat, compact, well made. However, as noted in title, consistently reads higher than an upper arm device by 5-9 both systolic & diastolic. This is well known for wrist devices when compared to upper arm devices.Much easier/more convenient to use though.

Compact, effective but needs care
I've had this device for 24 hours and I am pleased with its supporting documents written in a variety of languages which create a bundle larger than the BPM itself! I'm using the Moron R7 primarily for my partner who has just come out of hospital and for myself out of curiosity..The display is large and easy to read when tilted at the correct angle, unfortunately this is not easy to do when running the test, unless your double jointed. The OMRON RS7 is very sensitive to movement and you need to sit very still and not flex your arm whilst it runs the test. I tried 6 times to get a test each with an error 4. Finally resting my arm on a table with a cushion and it worked. The instructions say you can override this apparent sensitivity but how that effect the final test readings, I don't know.I eventually managed to get Apple Health to show my BP. It isn't really described in the documentation how to do this and I think I got it working with a combination of syncing the BPM with my iPhone and then rebooting the iPhone which kicked Apple Health into recognising the BP readings.I think this is a good wrist based BPM, which has the smart ability to transfer to the Omron Connect app and the Apple Health app. I do however wonder whether the more traditional upper arm BPM would have been easier to use. This compact device does a good job, but with a bit of effort
