Parking Assist with Sound Only, 4 Rear Drill-in (Dark Gray) Backup Sensors (SS4)

Kinda tough to install, but I got to learn a lot about my car while doing it. My reverse lights were kinda in a weird spot, so I had to work harder than most people will. But the customer service was more than helpful. I am happy with my purchase.

The product appears cheap but works very well - better than expected. The dark gray sensors matched my nimble gray Honda Pilot perfectly and looks factory installed. The directions are adequate and just lists the parts and basic idea as to what to hook them up to and where to place the sensors. The power lead was too short for me and I took some speaker wire to lengthen it. I had to splice into the green back up wire under the headliner since my light is located in the back hatch that opens. Drilling holes in the bumper was a bit nerve wrecking, but I used painting tape on the bumper to measure, mark, adjust, etc. before taking the leap of faith. I used flex wire covers, lots of electrical tape, and some zip ties to neatly and professionally run wires for a clean look and to protect the wires where exposed. The buzzer is plenty loud if in an open area but a bit muffled if hidden and you have the radio on. It starts beeping around 4-5ft and has a solid tone around 1-1.5ft to give you some reaction time. I am very pleased with both the product and my work.

They work, but the working distance and the angles are very limited. They only detect obstacles right in front of the sensor. At 2 meters (6 feet) they start beeping but at 1 feet the sound becomes constant, I was hopping for a minor minimal distance so I could park in tight spaces.

My wife likes them so far; they were installed on her vehicle.

The installation was straight forward and the product works well.The reason for the 3 stars is that the range is very limited. I have to be within 3 feet of an object (like a garage door or a wall) before it starts to chirp. I was hoping for a range at least twice that.

I purchased this product for my daughters car because she kept backing into things even though she has a backup camera. I figured the beeping sound would improve my chances of saving money. I was concerned about the quality due to the price but I have to say it is a nice kit and exceeded my expectations.

They were easy to install in my 07 Honda Pilot and look nice. The beeper is plenty loud enough however the sensitivity is poor, it alarms at about a 2 foot distance or less.. I was wanting something that would start to sense about 6 feet away.
