Unbeatable customer service !
This is a very cool product by a veteran owned and operated company. My light strip would not light up after installation so I contacted David on a Sunday. Immediately I received a response on how he could help me with my problem. I appeared to have a damaged light strip possibly by my installation. David sent me a replacement light strip free of charge the next day. He instructed me to be very careful with the light strip where it connects to the cord. You can't beat customer service like this. I will definitely recommend KMS2 's UFO reloading press light to all my reloading buddies. J Battaglia.

Great addition to my progressive reloading press!
For the past 20 years or more of reloading with my Lee Pro 1000 progressive press I've tried different methods to put light where it needs to go so I can see the powder level in the case before placing the bullet in the case mouth. None have been great, and only one even workable - until now. After a fellow hand loader mentioned the KMS Squared UFO Reloading Press Lights in a reloading forum I had to investigate. Such a simple concept - a strip of LEDs contoured to fit specific press models - and I was in luck, one model was for the Lee Classic Turret and my press, the Lee Pro 1000. After seeing the pictures of the LED-lit press and how the LED strip attached to the tool head, I ordered one.As is my typical luck, installation hit a snag right off the bat - my ancient Lee press is slightly different than the installation instructions showed, but an email to their support on Sunday evening received a reply within an hour with a suggestion to slightly adapt the installation to my press. Outstanding service!Installation proceeded from there with only one minor hiccup - while attaching the strip of LEDs and adjusting the pigtail, the end of the strip nearest the pigtail came loose from the tool head and won't adhere again. The zip tie holds that end in place securely, so it isn't a big deal but I'm not sure what went wrong since I followed the instructions to thoroughly clean the tool head and scuff it with the supplied abrasive pad, and to heat the strip and tool head before installation. I do wonder why they don't use a different adhesive - I work with a compmany that supplies adhesive-backed RFID tags that aren't terribly different in concept, and the adhesive we use doesn't require heating to stick firmly and essentially permanently to glass so there should be other options for this application that would make for a better and easier installation. Regardless, the rest of the installation went fine with no other issues.Time to test it. I hit the switch and let me tell you, this thing produces a *lot* of light, and right where it needs to go!Once installed and tested I began running a few cases through as a dry run and it was like using a new press - no more fumbling to get the small LED key chain light mounted and positioned to give just a sliver of light in the case to see the powder. Now I just flip the switch and the case is lit up bright as day!All in all I couldn't be happier! If you are a hand loader, and especially if you use a progressive press, you won't find a better product for the money.

Great light! The adhesive needs time to cure...
Got this product for lee classic turret. Fits well. I saw lots of reviews complain about the adhesive not sticking well. Even after cleaning\scrubbing the spot and attaching the light, I ran into that too. While adjusting the zip tie, one of the power wires contacts came off. So I got out the soldering iron, easy fix. But it took about 10-15 minutes. With a working light, I went to reattach it, expecting to have to use double sided tape after fussing with it, adhesive exposed, while fixing the solder connection. And surprisingly the adhesive stuck. It suck really well to the press. No sliding, no peeling. It stuck fast and firm. I then attached my zip ties and reloaded some 38 special. Fantastic! and it shows no signs of coming off. So, my advice, after cleaning the spot on the press, is to peel the adhesive backing paper off and wait like like 10-15 minutes for the adhesive to cure before sticking it to the press.

Died after 2 uses
Update2: Support sent out a new one which has worked flawlessly for 6 months of consistent use. Updating to a 4 star, as faulty units can happen, and i cant fault them for a single bad unitUpdate: support reached out and said they have a lifetime warranty. I am working with them to see if they will replace the bad unitIve owned the halo led light for 9 months but only used it twice because i moved and it got packed up for the summer. I unpacked it 3 weeks ago and tested it. It worked perfectly. But I went to go use it tonight for the 3rd time and its dead. wont turned on. Verified it has power, checked the connections. I get a spark from the plug and nothing. It has a total of about 3 hours of use and its dead. Super disappointed

A pristine surface is needed to get the lights to stick
A pristine surface is needed to get the lights to stick. I dismantled my press and thoroughly cleaned it, Used isopropyl alcohol and followed the directions. But it did not stick for very long. I dismantled the press again and taped off the press in the area where the lights go and sprayed Formica contact cement on it and let it dry till it was tacky then applied the lights. That worked for awhile but ultimately fell off again and got caught in the cycle and broke some of the LEDS. I wish they would stay in place because they are very bright and I was very happy with the extra light. For now I will keep using them with only half of the lights working.

Great upgrade
I was using a different light next to the press before and it wasn't bad. But this light is right over the case, and let's you see inside. Definitely worth getting.

Too expensive, not worth
The MSRP of this led light is only $27, and they sell it over $90 on Amazon. way too expensive!
