Kevala Organic Sesame Tahini – Product for Hummus, Vegan Spread Butter, Gluten Free Snack, Made from Premium Seeds, Bulk Size, Non GMO, 36 lb

We have been buying Kevala organic tahini for a while now and up until the last two orders we have been very happy with the product. There has been a radical change in consistency and there seems to be a lot more oil present on top when we open the buckets. It has gone from being well mixed and of a spreadable nature, which we prefer. It also worked well in cooking. Now it is very thin, almost liquid enough to drink even after a lot of stirring. We opened our second bucket this morning and it was a very messy pain to deal with. The taste is still OK and not bitter. My wife and I both used to work for a company some years ago that made nut butters, including tahini, and we know what is involved in the manufacturing and quality control for this product. Guess we will keep looking for something better.Update 9/5/22:Gave this tahini another try and the quality control issues seem to have been resolved. I guess we will continue to order it.

80% of this product it’s liquid oil the worst that I have in 40 years of being in Restaurant. I couldn’t believe how you trick people 80% liquid oil not tahini.

I use tahini a lot in cooking. I got tired of spending $10 and up on a small, 8 oz jar that I flew through. I ordered this in a 1 gallon pail initially, then I found this size from the same seller. I don't even look elsewhere anymore - great quality, excellent packaging & fast arrival. And best price out there!
