They really made our party elegant! The silverware looks like silverware, not plasticware. Unfortunately when it arrived at least 8 of the cake plates were cracked from what we can see on the top and sides (we haven't opened the plastic wrapping), and the dinner plates are all warped on one side so that they look melted in an upward bend. [See attached pictures] The flat ware is also very tacky with scratches, dirty knives, and different colors of "silver" that look more gold-ish like someone spray painted them and ran out of the same color. We are sending these back and going to try to find something in a local store since we are short on time and obviously can't rely on companies like this that are shipping out products that come damaged and not as nice as they appear in pictures. Really sad because I wanted to use them. The design on the plates is beautiful, though the gold also looks more like silver.
