A very good short-sleeve formal shirt
Please be warned: The following review entails an enchanted man-child getting excited over, of all things, a *shirt*. If you find this annoying or corny, I don't blame you one bit and suggest one of the sensibly short reviews.__I have recently been given work at a facility as a dishwasher, so I need to wear short-sleeve shirts to wear under my uniform, the latter supplied at the restaurant.I'm technically allowed to wear any design-free short-sleeve shirt including a t-shirt, but this place is special, the folk there have been good to me, and my job there is a new start. I want to wear attire that I feel does the restaurant justice, and also fits my long-suppressed aim to dress for the job I want instead of just the one I have.Enter this short-sleeve collared button shirt. I had originally ordered this for economy, and I had been skeptical of the quality of an in-house Amazon-licensed button-shirt; and yet, it turns out to be something I've wanted for a long time in a formal shirt. The shirt is durable, for one. This surprised me, honestly. Formal attire shirts, understandable, tend to be fairly prone to ripping and the like, and I'd been afraid of the same for this one. However, this shirt has held up to quite a few pulls and strains from unexpected new tasks under the new job, without so much as a loose string.Secondly, the shirt fits loosely enough to allow the full range of motion that I need to be able to work effectively. This is another rare thing for formal work shirts, and thus yet another reason I am impressed and grateful.Thirdly, the shirt is soft and smooth. Not pajama soft, of course, but I need to wear it for twelve hours at a time in a kitchen, not in bed. It's soft and smooth enough to be comfortable to wear for that entire half-day shift. This is yet another rare thing for a work shirt, I find, and it makes the aforementioned durability that much more impressive, since in other shirts I've worn tenderness and durability are usually mutually exclusive.Fourth, the shirt really does have a sharp, formal look to it in my opinion, at least from my perspective. If I ever were to be hired by, say, an office, or become a manager, I'd be all too happy to purchase more of these to wear there as well, as well as the one I already have and am reviewing presently.Rounding this out is the fact I can wash this shirt with my other bleach whites is an added bonus- a particularly useful one, considering what I tend to contact during the job.___Altogether a very good work shirt. If I can save up for it, and/or the price drops, I may very well purchase more and avoid wearing t-shirts to work ever again.

Great shirts. 100% cotton. Almost cheaper to replace.
I don’t buy these unless they’re $10 or $11. First time we took them to the cleaners the cleaners decide to dry clean them for $8. I was a little angry. I said I paid $10 for the shirt, can’t buy the shirt again to get it cleaned. That said. The shirt fits well. Lots of room in the shoulders while slim fit. Can’t spend all that time working out without looking good!

Perfect fot for my needs
I got a part-time job working at Cracker Barrel to make extra money. I needed a button down shirt with a button-down collar. I'm 5 foot 4 and I weigh a hundred and forty five pounds. My normal weight is 130. I think the shirt would fit a little better if I got back down to 130. But it does fit exceptionally well. I understand a lot of people don't feel like this is a slim-fit shirt, but when you have the shirt on you can tell it's slim fit. Just by the way it's cut. It definitely fits me a lot more snug than shirts not labeled slim-fit. The biggest thing about this shirt that I like is that ordinarily when I have to buy a button down shirt, if I get a short sleeve the sleeves are always huge they have too much diameter and they have too much linked. That's not the case here the sleeves are the perfect length for a shirt you're going to be moving around and working in not below the elbow and the diameter is perfect. And the waist is perfect when you tuck it in. Ordinarily I buy a shirt when I tuck it in because my waist is so skinny I have all this excess Fabric and it just looks terrible. I do not have that problem with this shirt. This shirt isn't slim fit like skin tight but it is a slim-fit.I plan to buy a few more.

worth every cent of the $20.
Everyting I could hope for in slim fit shortsleeve shirt. I am 5"9' and 168lbs. The large fit perfectly around the shoulders and chest area. A little long at the tail but thats cool. I"ll manage ... Great find !

Size Small Longer Than Expected
Surprisingly good construction, fabric has a nice heft to it and feels quality. One letdown is the shirt is substantially longer than expected in a small. It's a full 3.5 inches longer than a comparable Banana Republic shirt also in size small. I am 5'9 and find the hem to be so long that I'll probably end up returning it. If you're closer to 6' this would probably work for you and hit near the belt but at my height the length is awkward.

Look Like A Million Bucks
In an effort to distance myself from my loud logos and flashy styled t-shirts, I’ve been gravitating towards more minimalist style garments like this plain navy button down shirt. I really like the fit and style. It’s a shirt that is easy to dress up or down depending on when and how you’d like to wear it. It is made with a heavier weight cotton so I caution you against wearing it in 80+ degree weather…though it would hide sweat stains fairly well so there’s that. All in all, I really like this shirt a lot. It fits my 5’11”, 210-215 pound frame quite well. I also like that I didn’t need a million dollars in order to look like a million dollars.
