The only actual problem I had with this was the mud. It's a bit heavy in mids. Fix that with the drivers and it'll on point. I literally had no other issues with what this device is. As for design, it's not totally epilepsy friendly. There's an LED behind the speaker grill that flashes when audio is received and when the device is powered on and idle. I honestly don't think it's necessary for it to flash at all. I hope the next version addresses these two things. I lost in a very recent move and sorely miss it. As a photo-epileptic, I sincerely hope that version comes by the time I'm ready to purchase another one.

Topic #1: wish it had some simple way of turning it on & off. Like a plain old on-off switch. But no... there's an annoying tiny blue LED that blinks sometimes, sometimes is supposed to be steady, blah blah blah - it's a whole encyclopedia just reading about that darn light & I never was sure I had this device in the proper state. No matter, because Topic #2: it barely picked up the sound coming from my phone anyway, and even then it processed & outputted that sound into something garbled, muffled, very bad & useless. Topic #3: ergonomics. The phone ends up horizontal of course, and with it lying there - the screen's viewing angle being what it is - you can barely see what's on it. It all goes darkened and you have to pick up the phone to read it... pulling it away from the device that needs to accept the phone's sound output. Whatever, in the few weeks not once did I get this thing to do its job. However, it is possible to feed audio into it via a 3.5mm audio jack - so it becomes an ordinary wired speaker [for my TV]. That, at least, gets some use out of my semi-big bucks. Don't waste your money.

I have mine in the bathroom and it works great for me to just set my phone on top without having to plug a cord in. Extremely simple and easy to use, you can take this thing anywhere. Yes, you can find much better sound quality, but you end up spending a lot more money. This one is great because you can take it to the beach or the pool and not have to worry about losing hundreds of dollars you spent on a Bose or Beats speaker. Overall very satisfied, it gets the job done.

Before that worked so much better so I was disappointed that this one doesn't sound good. It's past the point of return and I can't find return papers so I'm stuck with it. I just want to exchange it in hopes that maybe this particular one was defective

This is an awesome little gadget. small and easy to take with you on the go. i use rechargeable batteries and they last for hours before recharging. the sound is decent as well. there isnt much bass, but you definitely cant complain the sound this puts out for the size of it. you do have to put the phone on the "sweet spot" if you move it off its not as loud (or sometimes wont pick up and wont work), so make sure you have the phone directly on its "sweet spot".

When you don't want to use headphones -- like when you're getting ready to go out or at night when you're getting ready for bed or when you're working and headphones will get in the way -- this is the perfect solution. It's loud, it's easy to use, and it's not expensive. Perfect!

It’s loud, but the sound quality is not the greatest. The fact that you just set the phone on top and blast some music instantly is pretty freaking cool!!

I bought this speaker because I didn't want to pay for something big and expensive. For its size it works surprisingly well. It did take me a while to learn that you have to have your phone somewhat loud enough for the speaker to pick it up. Also don't expect any heavy base from this little thing. But other than that it does increase the volume and allow for a pretty good experience.

Bin soweit ganz zufrieden. Das einzige Problem ist, das der Ton sich zu schnell abschaltet, wenn die Musik stellenweise leiser wird, darum habe ich mein Handy mit Kabel angeschlossen. Der Ton ist sehr gut, verzerrt auch nicht bei hoher Lautstärke, und die Bässe klingen gut, nicht so blechern, wie bei manchen anderen Lautsprechern. Mein Fazit: Wenn man gerne laute Musik hört, gibt es keine Probleme.
