Using for x-country skiing and hiking in snow (off trail). The drawstring on upper calf (below knee) is very convenient and works well. Velcro closure kept snow out. Undersole boot strap is a little difficult to unbuckle when in or covered with snow. Perhaps a spring/gator clip instead of buckle would be better. I definitely recommend.

So many cool features! A little classy to attach to your laces, a little bead to hold the adjustment strap to prevent it from getting caught on things, a durable rubber strap, and such fun patterns! I am very pleased with this purchase!

These gaiters should fit a variety of boots or hiking shoes well. The quality is good . Nice wide velcro and snaps to help adjust fit. Elastic helps to make them comfortable. Only issue I have is the fabric is less heavy than I hoped . Kind of on the thinner side, pretty soft to the touch . Wouldn't take them through any real thorny ground, think they would snag and doubt they would hold up. Should work well on foxtails , and lighter ground cover.

Working on my winter 3500 in the Catskills, so doing a fair bit of steep hiking in snow. Nearing the end of my second season in these and still very satisfied. I was concerned the velcro woud get clogged with ice or snow and be an issue (compared to a zipper) but have had no problems at all. They stay secure even on slippery synthetic pants, and they fit tightly enough against regular waterproof hiking boots that even snowshoeing in deep snow my socks and feet remain totally dry. Have been fine with snowshoes and microspikes. Never snagged them. I'd buy them again tomorrow if I lost these.

Wow, these are SO GOOD! Buy them! I am pretty picky, had high hopes and these have exceeded my expectations. 5/5 functionality, 5/5 user friendly, 5/5 fit and comfort. 250+ inches of snow to play in here and these have been a perfect addition to my gear.

They work, keeps the snow out in 6” deep snow with a regular waterproof Merrill. But, I don’t like how the snap buttons ant the top are right on the shin bone (and there are three, horizontal to the ground when). Would hate to think how painful it would be to stand up from the knee when falling or having to crawl or when bumping on the snaps. Kind of a critical design flaw. The lower three snaps around the boot/foot are great though. Also hard to get the Velcro just right, too, although it’s very strong which is good too

Waterproof for snowshoeing and keeps mud of pants when muddy. Holds position on leg. Not breathable but not a huge deal. Seems good quality for the price and functions as expected. Fits my skinnier legs over jeans and base layer. Comfortable and light weight.
