My ‘05 Cadillac Escalade Key Fob case broke while my husband changed the battery the other day. So I got on Amazon and searched the part number on the back and this replacement case came up. It arrived quickly and I was able to change it out easily due the fact that it was just the case broken. The green part inside that is programmed to open my car did not need replaced. This replacement worked my my needs. See pictures of original case compared to what arrived. Perfect match functioned perfectly.

So simple - just open your old fob like you wanted to replace the battery, take out the little circuit board, put it in the new fob and snap shut.A button on my 13 year old fob broke off while I was cleaning it. I had to take the car to the shop the next day, and while I was there, their key fob guy came in - I told him what was going on, he told me I could order a new one and have him program it for around $150, or I could order a new case for less than $10! Gotta appreciate honest, helpful business folks like that (and Amazon’s quick delivery)

The only reason I bought this was because I couldn't find just the rubber key pad for my '06 TrailBlazer. The printing on my old one was completely worn away. If you have a battery holder on the back side like mine (left in photo) then this item won't work if you need a new back. Otherwise the rubber pad was an exact fit and works perfectly.

Purchased this is a replacement for an original Equinox fob. It was a perfect fit for the original electroniocs and the buttons now respond properly!
