Extremely durable, fast, and had good flying range
This drone is a freakin beast!. The range is really good for the price. I have taken it out 200 ft around large trucks and walls and the signal is still good. It has crashed literally hundreds of times, some really hard, and it keeps going no problem. I even landed fully submerged is my dogs water dish and it died. I let it dry for 30 mins and it was back in the air with no damage! The fpv is real time with very little lag. It performs flips , takes a lot of practice, and is super fast. If you are getting into fpv and want a tiny woop this is the one to get hands down! It is a blast to fly and you won't regret buying it!

THE BEST FOR SIMPLE BEGINNERS
This is perfect for beginners but this doesn’t mean it’s slow! It’s pretty quick and snappy for the price. I upgraded controllers and had no problem connecting it, so if you want to upgrade your headset or controller to anything you can. Perfect for someone who wants to see if there interest in FPV drone. This is comming from a 18 year old, I love driving around with friends and following the car. But don’t drive with the headset lol. It goes about 25-30mph and iv gotten a few friends interested and gotten the same one and one of my friends got another brand and had trouble connecting the controller and head set not beginner friendly, but this one iv connected to beta flight and learned how to tune from YouTube videos and now I drive it around car meets sometimes. Iv gotten pretty comfortable. There are tons of YouTube videos about this drone and tons of help in the community. This is really this best budget drone for adults and young kids. Mostly young kids but I know full grown adults with this drone and headset and they have fun. The headset is a little heavy and uncomfortable but for the price it’s nothing to worry about it’s really not that uncomfortable you forget 10 secs after you fly off lol.

Must read review
Save your money! STAY AWAY. I purchased this RTF kit ($168.00 x2) for my two boys ages 13 and 10. Since they flew them into walls while learning I assumed it was the flying that caused them to break at first, so I just bought them new ones when the first two broke soon after use. FIVE (5) Tiny Hawks later after replacing them as Christmas gifts I had had enough. My son gently flew it into a wall (expected, it is an indoor quad) and the reception from the transmitter was now two feet. I sent to Emax to cover this failure under the warranty. WOW what an experience this has been. They refuse to repair/replace it without charging me. They also will not tell me how much it will cost or what is even wrong with it. Just telling me to approve a blank check. What is really depressing is how the support folks have been speaking to a ten (10) year old in their emails. Horrible treatment and manner of speaking to a ten year old via email. This was the big part of his Christmas gift and it lasted a whole week and then followed up with abusive correspondence and stall tactics by Emax (its eight weeks later and I still don’t even have my broken one back). Save your money or go with a competitor because this product is terrible and the company is even worse. Please remember this is sold as an indoor quad for beginners. But is as fragile as an egg shell. Product is junk so is the company. I will update this review if they ever even return my broken device. For now, complete waste of money.

Great drone!
Quadcopter is great for learning it’s nice to be able to switch through the different settings to fly in “automatic” or “manual” the camera on the drone itself though is angled up a little too high so if you want to see straight you really have to be going fast to get the angle correct. The headset itself is alright, having the battery separate from the headset was a little bit obnoxious. Luckily it’s easy to switch headsets.Great little drone let’s of fun easy to use, just make sure to get some extra batteries.

First time drone buyer - Love it!
This is my first drone of any kind and I really like it. It works out of the box as advertised. I was concerned that it was going to be gimmicky (i.e. break quickly), but it is not, instead it is the real deal.Drone: Super durable, I have been learning inside my house and have crashed it a lot and there is not a scratch on it. I was concerned that I would buy it and that it would break after a few crashes leaving me with useless goggles and controller. The fact that I can crash it over and over and actually learn on it is huge for me.Controller: Is great for a me, a first time buyer, I quickly got the hang of arming it and switching to hold when I crashed. I started with the switch on the right in easy mode and soon found I had better control switching to medium difficulty (middle setting on the right switch).Goggles: They are fine, again I am a first time buyer so I have nothing to compare them to. The three straps (two sides and top) are adjustable. They are pretty comfortable.Battery: Fine, I get just over 4 minutes on a charge. I bought 2 additional batteries and I am glad I did since one is not enough.Charger: Works fine, no issues. One side is configure to charge at 0.2amps and one side is configured to charge at 0.6amps. There are little switches to change the charging rate. I don't know why you would charge at 0.2amps, i always charge at 0.6amps.Overall: The image is not super crisp, but good enough. If I fly into another room then the I start to loose the image, but not too badly. I tried flying outside, but because there is nothing to confine me I start to loose the drone (I let it get too far away), so I switched to learning indoors. Flying indoors is forcing me to learn to control it (between the floor and ceiling and away from the walls and obstacles). Since I keep crashing and it is fine, this is preferable to me. I found that flying outdoors during the daytime is difficult, the camera struggles to display the range of light so the ground goes very dark and I can't figure out where I am. The beeping of the drone is super helpful if you are not sure where you crashed, I have used the beeping to find it several times. It would be nice if the camera and antenna could be upgraded to provide a better picture and less interference, but that would probably impact the battery life.I think it is great, I did a lot of research and really wanted a micro-drone that worked out of the box and this does that. I am glad I do not have to do any configuration, I can just plug in the battery and fly. Of course it is not perfect, but it is good enough and for something so small to just work out of the box is awesome.

EMAX Tinyhawk RTF Kit
EDIT: 2019 07 21 - So I thought I would update this review. The TinyHawk has been a blast. I have attached a picture of some additions that I have made to the original kit. (Additional batteries, upgraded antennas) I am continually amazed at the stability of the craft, the ability to bump into things and keep on flying. The DVR footage of my flying was through a pair of SkyZone 02X. I appreciate that the Tinyhawk RTF acts like a bridge from beginner to pilot. It gave me everything I needed at a reasonable price, I can change out components (like the transmitter and goggles). So, yea, I have been pleased with the Tinyhawks design and Emaxs intent for an entry kit with growth capability.I bought this from GagdetBing through Amazon. They were quick and efficient with the delivery. They gave an accurate estimated delivery time. The delivery company alerted me when bad weather had impacted my shipment and informed me there would be a two day delay. They have contacted me in regards to my purchase and asked if I am pleased with it. I am.For drones, I have been more of a consumer grade flier with features like GPS guidance and Return to Home and following capabilities. I got into it because I love the photos that I can capture with these types of drones. However I have loved the video footage that can be made with the use of Freestyle/ Racing drones and I have been curious about getting into flying these craft. The EMAX Tinyhawk RTF seemed like a good jumping off point to get into FPV drones. It wasn’t a good jumping off point, it was great. This thing is incredibly stable in flight and is very responsive with regards to both the controller and googles. Give yourself plenty of room for flight because this thing moves. I have been impressed with its build quality as I have had a few mishaps along the way and have been impressed that the craft was able to be picked back up and ready to fly. This was after falling close to 40 foot on to the concrete and the second crash I caught a wall and sent it spinning into oblivion. It is still flying and look forward to each oppozrtunity that I get to fly. I will say spend the money for about 5 - 6 extra batteries, if you can afford it. It is nice to be able to swap out and keep flying. Each time I fly now I keep contemplating moving up to the next platform size and ability.

Just did not work right for me
This was my first "non toy" drone and my first FPV. I was super excited to get going on it and fired it up after an initial charge. It was very difficult to fly but I flew it indoors and crashed it a few times till the battery drained, then charged and flew again. I probably went through about 4 charges my first day.I was having fun and really impressed at how the pro's are able to control these things so well.Day 2 rolls around and I plug everything in and want to fly. I could not get a blue light to light up on the drone. I tried and tried, but to no avail. I researched online and then installed Betaflight controller to configure it. I played with it for 2 days in the evening while watching "The Expanse" (great show btw). The second day I came across some one saying they had the same symptoms and to change the controller to a different version. I did this and low and behold it worked! Why I had to switch is beyond me.Well I purchased 8 more batteries so I can have more flight time and took it outside. Once at a park, I attempted to FPV and the thing would cut out if it was more than about 30 ft away, fully unfunctioning. So again, I was unable to really truly fly it and enjoy.Well, the next day I met up with a friend who has a different brand and flew his...it was 100% better than mine. He was making fun of my poor flight skills. I handed him my controller and he was really impressed at how bad it was. I then flew his .That night, I came back to Amazon and hit "return Item".I really think I just got a bad one, thats why I am setting it to a 3 star. But in the end, I purchase a different brand.

Responsive, good consistent video. TOUGH
This is the first drone ive ever owned. I was so terrified that i would break this thing. But it's been a few weeks now, and its slammed into the pavement more than a kid with vertigo learning to ride a bike.Since its my first drone, i can only speak so much for the features.PROS:-Constant quality video feed-3 modes of flight (level, horizontal, acrobatic)-Ready to go out of the box-Tough as nails. (You will lose props now and again from hard impacts, but I challenge you to damage that circuit board from flight)CONS:-The controller sucks. Its cheap plastic garbage, and the joysticks are huge and unweildy with this awful dry sponge grip feel on top.-Video distance is limited to probably around a 25 yard radius before its full static-The compartment to hold the battery is super loose and will have the battery slide out. HOWEVER this is easily fixable with a rubberband. All in all, Its so much fun! The next drone I want to get is the TinyHawk III which fixes the aforementioned problems.
