probably wont reorder these bones
Until we ordered these bones, we had problems finding any chew toys or bones that would hold up to our very energetic young pit mix shelter girl who LOVES any chew bones! But now, we give her one of these to share with her pit playmate and it takes quite a while for them to chew these down.(great!) The problem is, when they get to the knot part, they leave it around the yard for us to find much later with lots of dirt and slobber on them! I dont know if this is supposed to be the safety part of this rawhide chew or not, but it seems the dogs should be able to chew the whole thing up.

Not really big enough for a 200lb Saint Bernard he was done with it in minutes but would be great for a lab or golden size dog.

It's ok but makes a mess
My dog devoured this thing but it left behind little pieces on the floor. It seems to splinter (not dangerously) when he was eating it. I'd never seen rawhide do that. My dog loved it but I doubt I would buy it again.

My golden plowed right through the two ends but the knot was a challenge. They are too pricey!!!

Favorite Treat
These are shrink wrapped which I appreciate for hygienic reasons. My dog loves this particular style and brand of chew. She is a somewhat aggressive chewer when it comes to rawhide treats so to make them last longer she has been timer trained - five minutes ~ supervised at a time.They have never splintered or had excessive loose rawhide pieces inside. As with any rawhide chew they do leave a gummy sticky mess.I would recommend a specific location to have the dog enjoy her treat.

Did not last long - overpriced
This rawhide seems massive in the description but it is not. My pooch ripped through it in 2 nights. Thin rawhide...

Finally a safe chew
This is a safe, high quality rawhide that allows my dogs to have something to chew where I don't worry about a choking hazard. Most rawhides become stringy, sloppy and wet and are a choking hazard. These are higher quality rawhide that breaks off in small pieces, never becomes slimy and the dogs love them. I won't buy any other rawhide. I'm delighted that Amazon now carries them with Prime shipping. My dogs are happy about that too!
