ok for pellets but.....
I have used this for about 2 weeks now. This is ok for the price. I used it for both pellets and flake. With Flake you will need to crush the flake food up to let it flow properly as for the pellets just sliding the gate adjustment you will be able to figure out the right release for the amount of fish you have. I have to set it wide open on 12 hour rotations for the fish to get enough flake food and one rotation at about 50% for the pellets.

Excellent Feeder
Works great easy to adjust the feed amount. Only use flake smalls size food or you will need to grind the large flakes down. Do not use ball or pellet food it feeds a whole lot more food causing overfeeding

The door keeps sticking closed and I had to lightly sand it to make it work better.

Auto feed function is not working
The feeder looks promising and the size is perfect for my 10 gallon tank with 3 tetras and 3 guppies. However, seems like I have received a defective piece. The auto feed function does not work. It only feeds when the button is pressed, does not automatically repeat after the time interval.
