It’s more feasible to purchase the entire set. Individually they’re too costly. Great comedy. You’ll find yourself laughing nonstop. Love the dog Jim.

A great video at a great price

When I first saw the commercials for this show, I thought "I don't know..." I thought it might be a "chick show". I really am glad I was wrong. I should have known better with Chuck Lorre behind it, who is the Norman Lear of today's TV. This is easily close to being my favorite show...tied with Chuck's other show "The Big Bang Theory". I've always liked Billy Gardell since the first time I saw him on "Yes Dear", and since I never watched "Gilmore Girls", Melissa McCarthy was a newcomer (to me), and I decided to give the show a try and I am not sorry. The two of them, plus the rest of the cast, have such good chemistry and really play off each other well. Even Jim the dog (the way he and Molly just look at each other). I've always loved Swoosie Kurtz also (who looks almost exactly like my wife) and the one-liners between Carl and his "Nana" are side-splitting, even embarrassing at times! I can't wait for this DVD set to be released so I can clear up some DVR space! Here's to a long and successful run of a terrific show.

I really really love Melissa McCarthy. She's wonderful and talented and I had heard so many good things about this show from many different friends. So I binge watched season 1 in one day and LOVED it. It's wonderful and nice to see her in a more subdued form of humor and playing wonderful caring Molly is a joy to watch. The ensemble cast is fabulous from Mike's best friend, his sage advice giving grandmother, Mike's bitter sarcastic mother, Molly's pot smoking sex crazed sister and wine slugging mother, everyone is a winner. I have already eagerly ordered the next several seasons and can't wait to follow this love story and their zany adventures.

Received season 1 of Mike and Molly Saturday afternoon. Have watched almost nonstop for the past 3 days (3 times for each disk) and each time I laugh, laugh, laugh. How delightful to watch two sweet, vulnerable, people meet, fall in love, and learn to trust each other. Fun, also, to see the original characters evolve (Mike, Molly, Victoria, Joyce, Carl, Samuel), new characters emerge to become part of the tapestry (Nana, Vince, Mrs Biggs & Jim) and hope others will continue to resurface (Carl's girlfriend Christine; the computer geek they met at the ballgame, then invited to Overeaters Anonymous; Samuel's boss Abe and his feisty wife; Samuel's internet girlfriend; Molly's colleague/nemisis). Amazingly the uber talented supporting cast enhances, and never takes away from, the main characters or their storyline. Must be the fine acting, writing and direction.Can't wait for season 2 on DVD. The moment it's available I'll be in line. In the meantime I'm TiVoing as many as my machine will hold. Revisiting these characters uplifts my spirits and makes my day.

This show was a sleeper for me. I would watch a show here and there but not consistently. I started out with season 2 because the first season was not available at the store I was in. I began watching but I waned to start at the beginning so of course I went to Amazon. To my delight they had not only the first season but also the third. It was a no brainer purchase and I am thoroughly satisfied.The show is fantastic and I can watch them everyday. The actors do an amazing job and some of the shows are just so funny that you laugh out loud no matter how often you have seen them.. This is a fabulous show that you cannot go wrong by getting it.

When this show first debuted several years ago, I was dealing with the loss of my father, so I was watching very little television. Recently, one of the stations in my area started airing it and I began watching and was hooked! This show is hilarious, and every character has wonderful depth and their comedic timing is impeccable. Even the minor characters have great one-liners and one episode is better than the last. Interestingly, I think that it's Vince and Mrs. Biggs who deliver the best laughs, although the entire cast is superb. .Bought the first DVD set, and although it arrived damaged, Amazon quickly rectified. I will purchasing every season!

This was why I started watching in the first place. Two unlikely people finding love and support in one another. All while making you laugh.

Loved Mike and Molly when it first came out and enjoy it even more now!

Great! Shipped fast. Great deal. Was disappointed the other seasons increased in price so I’ll wait to buy them. Love this show though!
