It's like sleeping in a cloud. I've purchased many expensive (over $120) sets of high-fiber-count cotton sheets, and these are softer than all of them. Don't pay attention to the above negative reviews - people complaining that these aren't cotton when it CLEARLY states in the description they are microfiber (polyester). You may not realize it (as obviously these other folks didn't) but microfiber sheets are a relatively new thing and the broader market is just now realizing how fantastic they are, as they are much less expensive to produce and much softer than traditional cotton, and longer-lasting after washes. You see microfiber sheets in stores now for 1/4 the price of cotton sheets. They will eventually take over the market completely and replace old-school cotton sheets. Cotton is extremely expensive by comparison for manufacturers - using polyester brings down the price of the sheets to 1\4 while making them even softer. Cotton threads are also very rough - it takes a lot of combing and refining to get them soft enough for bedsheets. Polyester threads are silky soft automatically. The truth is, in reality most people can't tell the difference between a high and low thread count for cotton sheets; repeated studies have shown this. But what you CAN feel is the amazing difference of microfiber (polyester) immediately. That's why they make "triblend" t-shirts with polyester, cotton & rayon, and they are much softer and longer-lasting than cotton t-shirts. The synthetic fibers last longer after many washes and don't "pill up" like cotton alone does.These sheets are EXTREMELY COOL and I have never overheated in them after two months of use. Likewise I have washed them at least 10 times and they still look brand new (thanks again to stronger, longer-lasting polyester fibers). EXCELLENT PRODUCT thank you I am ordering more sets!
