Minecraft for Beginners

My lad loves this book, he reads it alot, this is ideal for any Minecraft fan and makes a lovely gift, it's reasonably priced too, my son can read it perfectly without help so every easy to follow, I'd say its perfect for 6 to 7 years plus

I bought this because I started Minecraft with my five year old and we had absolutely no idea what we were doing. Straight on Amazon and ordered this and it was here next day.After just a few pages we were straight into into mining, crafting, finding villages etc... It's full of great information. I'm sure I could've found all the info on the net but would it have been as well laid out and as easy to understand? I'm not so sure.Right now the book is 4.99 which for me is great value, it's a hard back as well.Overall for me and my son as absolute beginners this book has been invaluable. Five stars.

My six year old son wants to read this everyday. Has lots of information and gets my son talking about the game

I'm an adult and started playing Minecraft recently and found myself Googling one thing after another and decided to get the book. It did not change anything for me, I still had to Google most of the things.It's a very nice quality book though with some very basic information so if you are looking for a nice gift for a kid I could easily recommend this.But if you are an adult like me looking for more information.. keep looking :)

I purchased this for my 7 year old son who has just started year 3 and discovered minecraft. All the kids are playing it apparently and he didn’t really know much about it so we downloaded it to his kindle to see what all the fuss was about. Needless to say apart from walking about digging holes we were both pretty clueless. I purchased this book and it’s been great in so many ways. A) he voluntarily picks up the book and reads!!!! B) he no longer asks me questions I have no idea how to answer like how do you breed a pig?!! C) he now has things he can contribute to in conversations with friends about it and he is pleased that he is now teaching his friends how to do things. Major kudos on the playground.

Minecraft Crazy son loves these book. We find it hard for him to 'want to read' as he is autistic but this is great, it holds his attention where as other items generally don't. The words are a good size and the images are engaging and good quality.

Reading practise and now grandad knows what it's all about too. A new learning curve for young and old. Good quality book and a change from school books.

After trying many YouTube videos, I found this book the best resource for getting a novice up and running, with plenty of tips to return to time and again.
