Kai 8” Pinking Shears - N5350 Ergonomic Pinkers Sewing Scissors

Using this for a felt project for church-lots and lots of felt. Absolutely no pain in hands when cutting. The Kai scissors are the best I have ever used in 50 years of sewing.I have a pair of Marks pinking shears, and they so much better than any others I have used. But with all the cutting needing done for this project I had to get a pair of Kai Pinking shears to save my hands.The Kai scissors are hands down the best scissors...they cut smoothly and easily. If you sew you need to try these scissors, the best!

This pair of pinking shears has turned out to be fabulous! Pretty much all pinking shears will become dull over time and I expect that it will happen with these. But, right out of the box these pinkers have done a great job of cutting without chewing the fabric. For the price, these are a great deal! I do highly recommend them.

I had a pair of gingham pinking shears which were always clunky and very difficult to use so when I needed to do an extensive project I looked for a new pair. These are an amazing replacement.As stated in the other reviews, the handle is a bit large so opening the teeth all the way takes a slight effort but it’s been totally manageable for me and the results are perfect. They cut smoothly across the entire range of teeth. I just love these scissors!

I love these Kai pinking shears. They are so sharp, unlike other brands I’ve used. They are lightweight, but don’t let that fool you. I have used them on lightweight to heavier fabrics and they perform on the first cut. They do not hurt my hand like the other brand I have. I encourage you to try any of the Kai scissors brand. They are very sharp and lightweight. You will love them!

I am not a sewer or crafter. I bought these to use on a wide grosgrain ribbon I replaced on my big sun hat. The ribbon frayed at the ends. In order to stop the fraying, I knew I needed to trim the ends with a pinking shears. This looks like a well made shears. However, I have a disability in my arms from a car accident. I also have very small hands. Using the shears required more arm strength than it should. Several of the reviewers noticed this defect. However, I am not cutting over and over. If I were, I would have selected one that was not as tight. This pinking shears is heavy and appears to be of good quality. Perhaps, they should do something about the tightness so that all the reviews are 5 stars. I suspect that with my light use, they will last for years. However, even with heavy use these look like they will last many years. Maybe with a great deal of use they will become looser.

These are substantial, very well-made, and they cut perfectly. They are sharpened perfectly. Great value for the money.

Easy to use and my hand doesn’t hurt when I use them!!
