Soft, comfortable cup & responsive company
I recently ordered Oi cups for both my daughter and myself. I'm a long time cup user and this is to replace a very well-known brand cup that's simply worn out with years of use, so I am already confident about what size I'll need and how to use a cup. I was interested in trying a TPE cup since they're supposed to form to your body's shape. I also wanted a slightly softer cup than my previous brand to help my reactive bladder. The Oi cup is extremely comfortable and easy to insert. I've read softer cups can be more challenging, but had no issues. I haven't even needed to trim the stem, although I expected to cut the stem short like I have in the past. I just don't feel it. I only wish it was available in a color other than pink!I'm very glad they make a truly small version - too many of the cups we looked at (and there are so many now!) have only two sizes with barely any difference in diameter for young teens. My daughter's cup had a tear at the very base of the stem when it arrived. Although we could have simply cut the stem off completely, this might not have been a good option for her. I reached out to the company via email and they immediately shipped us a new cup.We also appreciate their organic product line of pads and tampons for girls with lighter flows and smaller bodies!

Oi Girl is my favorite cup now
I have a silicone cup and a TPE cup (this one) so I think I can provide a rundown of a few key differences I've found between them. That said, every cup is a little different, so it's not like all silicone cups are going to be like mine. The Oi Girl is a softer material, and after an hour it seems to fit me very comfortably. It is slightly more difficult to put in, simply because the surface is more matte and less slippery than silicone. The stem is also on the chunky side, which doesn't bother me. However, I'm happy to deal with all those aspects of the cup.I wouldn't say there are too many noticeable differences between TPE and silicone other than that, but there is some research on the subject of safety. One study finds TPE is less likely to breed staph bacteria (which contribute to Toxic Shock Syndrome) than silicone is, which makes TPE a safer material. I do a lot of camping with no boiling/soap cleaning opportunities, so I feel better about TPE's ability to stay safe with just a rinse and a cleaning cloth wipedown. Conversely, it seems to be well-accepted fact that silicone is more durable, lasts longer, is less porous, and is less susceptible to staining. Finally, while TPE is completely medical grade and DEFINITELY produced cleanly, not all silicone cups adhere to the same standards. Some silicone is responsibly produced, but some comes from questionable sources. My cheap silicone cup probably isn't as responsibly sourced as it should be.I'll report back with how the Oi Girl stains and keeps its shape once I use it for a longer period of time. I do like that it's a very opaque material, since my silicone cup is partially translucent and visibly darker on the inside after a year of use.

I LOVE this cup!
Honestly every lady has to get one of these!Let me start off by saying that the main reason I chose Oi over other brands, was not only their consideration towards the environment with their Earth friendly packaging, but the fact that this cup is free from some seriously unhealthy chemicals a lot of other brands still use to make their cups. This was my first time trying a menstrual cup, and I was a bit hesitant as to how I was going to insert it, but let me tell you it's honestly not that different to putting a tampon in.It's so easy, way less messy, you can keep it in longer and no more buying tampons ever again. EVER.Like why doesn't every woman have an Oi cup?If you don't already know why using a menstrual cup is so much healthier than a tampon, I urge you to Google it. Let's get the next generation of ladies on board and say hello to a healthier more Earth friendly way of life. I'm all for this cup and you should be too!

Small size is what I wanted.
The Oi Cup mini is a small size as advertised. For someone new to menstrual cups, this is a great start. It’s not as soft as I had hoped but it isn’t too stiff either. The pink color is very cute. It also comes with a nice canvas bag for storage. If you are young and new to cups, this is a good place to start.

Won't "pop" once inserted
The Oi is theoretically my goldilocks cup in terms of size/shape after trying the Lily and Lunette. However, my first few goes at inserting it, it doesn't want to "pop open" once inside. Takes a lot of finagling and weird positions to get it open. After that, however, I can't even feel it and removes easily, better than other cups.

Customer Service Above and Beyond
When I contacted the company/seller with a quality question about the product I received, I was blown away by their GREAT customer service. It was explained to me that the item in question had a naturally occurring mini physical blemish, but the product itself was fine to use. Just to make sure I was extra happy, they sent me a new one for no charge, and some bonus full size products to try. I ended up ordering more from them because of this. I was replacing a less comfortable brand, and this product exceeded my expectations.

Like and don't like.
this is my favorite cup. But I sometimes have a hard time gripping that little nub. Once or twice I've had to emply the hubs for help.

Good when you can get it open. Leaks if you can’t.
This menstrual cup is nice quality and comfortable, but the silicone is pretty thick making it a little difficult to work with. It sometimes doesn’t want to pop open after insertion which causes leaks due to lack of suction. At first I thought I bought the wrong size, so I sized down but it didn’t solve the problem. Maybe it just doesn’t work in my body.
