Morec EV Charger Holder Holster Dock for Type 1 EVSE J1772 Connector Electric Vehicle Charger Plug Holder Storage

I already had a Type II charger with integral cord storage (a simple plastic flange on the front allowing the cord to just wrap around the charger) but there was no place to park my EVSE J1772 connector / handle - so it hung down with 1' of unwrapped cable. This holster fixes that. It was not what I'd call cheap for what it is, but was priced reasonably enough, and my better half appreciates the neater looking charger installation. I wish they offered one with 45 deg (or at least some angle) of downward tilt: as is, if this holster were just screwed to the wall, the handle would stick straight out, putting unnecessary strain on the cord attachment point and looking awkward. Instead I made a wood mounting base in a right triangle shape, mounted that to the wall, then mounted the holster to the downward angled face. Easy enough, and when "parked" in the holster the cord and the tail of the handle now hang nearly parallel to the wall, putting no bending strain on the cord attachment point. The holster itself seems robust and holds the handle securely with an easy insert / release action.

Got this to mount my charging cable outside and keep it out of the rain.Sturdy, works great.

While there were no printed instructions, this was easy to install as a secondary clip to hold the Level 2 EV charging cable on the outside of the house.

We just purchased an electric hybrid and have found the charging cord was tossed to the ground when not in use. We purchased this holder and it keep the area neat and the cord safely off the ground. It was simple to install. I do recommend it. (And the RAV4 Prime we bought...love it)
