Easy DIY fix!
I’m a big believer in doing my own home repairs. Especially easy ones like this that a professional would want to charge me three times the amount to do! So I’ve replaced this part before. But this time the quality was better. It seems very durable and the rubber is a good sturdy high-grade material. That probably contributes to the low noise level when it is opening and closing. Super easy to install and adjust the right size. So there’s no water flowing through after the tank refills.

Easy replacement for 3" flapper toilet valve and adjustable
Installs easily and is adjustable (rotate the wheel on top of the flapper) to vary the amount of fill. Almost always recommend to replace when you are installing another inlet valve.

Seems more durable
I bought this to replace cheap rubber flappers that warp within less than a year. The warped flapper caused the toilet to run, which wastes water and is annoying to hear. This one fit on easily and seems like it will last longer, not as flimsy as rubber one.
