Fluidmaster 5403 3-Inch Water Saving Long Life Toilet Flapper

Easy peasy.Installed in 20 seconds without my glasses.Perfect.I had to return a 2" that was too small.Works perfectly.Nice strong flexible rubber.Will most likely last way longer than me.Don't hesitate on this one. A+++

This is a pretty unusual part that I could not find in any local hardware stores. After installation, the product worked great. The older flapper would often stick in the upwards position allowing water to continue to drain out of the tank. The older one would also come dislodged from the hinge and not seal properly, causing the toilet to run every few minutes. This product worked as advertised and fit exactly as the original.

Easy installation. It does the job. Replaced the old one that couldn’t close tight.

I hate cleaning the toilet so I regularly put in one of those chlorine bleach pucks. The blue ones don't keep the toilet clean as well. The description of this product states, "Durable silicone seal lasts 10X longer than regular flappers and resists chlorine and hard water." Nope. I had a blue puck in for 2 months, no issues, then plopped a chlorine bleach pucks a week ago and the toilet is already "ghost flushing" which is why I had to replace with this flapper in the first place.Basically, it seems like this flapper replacement is good, it works, but the claim that it's resistant to chlorine is false. I'll see if it does any better if I clean up around the seal and let it ride but if I keep getting ghost flushes I'll have to avoid using those bleach pucks. Not saying this flapper is bad, just that the claim is false. I really wish toilet technology would advance. It's the year 2023 and we're still using rubber flappers?

I bought these because the toilets were wasted the water. I’m trying to save water.

Fits inside of water tank for toilet. However, the chain needs to be longer. There are 3 adjustments I can switch to, to connect the chain, but the chain is still short.

These flappers are mostly plastic and plastic really doesn't hold up well when being exposed to water 24/7. The flapper that was in my on-suite toilet ended up having a cracked hinge and was no longer sealing properly. I realized this when I'd flush and the tank would just keep filling up without stopping.Opted for the Amazon purchase as it was much cheaper than my local hardware store and it wasn't a "need it now" purchase since I have two other toilets that work just fine.The replacement was super easy and my toilet no longer leaks. Very happy with the purchase!
