SKLZ Rain Maker - Trajectory & Rebounding Basketball Trainer

My son says this is a great way to improve your shot. He is 13 years old and practices in the cold and snow -which it has been in MI for 4 months, now. Nevertheless, when he shoots on any other net, it's super easy to score. It seems to be helping him practice with good form. Our neighbors come to our bb hoop to practice, too. Clearly I am not an expert -just a Mom.

Conceptually,this is a great idea. The shooting portion of the predict works as advertised. There are issues with the rebounding trainer as the rods keep coming apart even though it is snapped in securely.....into longer use it for rebounding drills.

It keeps popping off.

The concept of this product is good. I shot on a shooting ring in high school and it helped. After shooting on a shooting ring then going back to the regulated rim, made it feel like you were shooting in a ocean. The main issue with this paticular ring it didn't fit all baskets. I wanted to use this for basketball training but it didn't fit the high school rim. Soon as a ball was shot and hit it, it came undone. It did fit other rims, but not the one I needed it to be on. Some rims are doubled and for me it definitely didn't work. But for a single rim, non breakaway, it worked. I had to send this back.

Four stars is for the TERRIBLE, GOD AWFUL SMELL still in my office from when my boys opened the box without asking. I knew it smelled from the prior reviews but didn't think they would get to it before I could tell them to open it up outside. I mean, this thing stinks to high heaven, so make sure you open it out doors and not in your house. The product itself is easy to install (a minute or two), is stable, and will really challenge the shooter to improve arc and accuracy. This is a must have - LOW COST - solution for any BBall parents who have kids that really want to work hard on improving their shooting percentage. Strongly recommend!

This equipment is essential to boost shooter accuracy. I bought this for my son who was a 70% accuracy shooter now he is a 90% shooter. I always tell him to follow his shot, now with the rebounding system he got much better at grabbing rebounds in the games. I recommend this to any shooter wanting to improve.

Why are people reviewing cones and flags when the product is a basketball rim attachment, I was thinking about ordering it but now I don't know what I'll get.

C'est impressionnant à quel point cet accessoire réduit l'efficacité au tir des joueurs (lors de l'entrainement), cet objet est à double tranchant, car il oblige à être plus précis, mais peut momentanément diminuer l'efficacité des joueurs sur du court terme. Par contre, cela développe un haut niveau de satisfaction lorsqu'un tir rentre.

El producto se adapta perfectamente a las necesidades. Es cómodo de utilizar y resistente. Muy recomendable para la mejora del tiro.

The product itself looked a little beat up. I figured overtime it would anyways so I overlooked. The bars that are supposed to span the width do not work. They are knocked out of place every time the ball comes in contact. Good for the shot, not so much for the rebound.
