Love, love, LOVE Rainbow Double Stack flip flops! This is my third or fourth pair, and they support my feet better and feel better than the best, most expensive tennis shoes. I hate it when winter comes and I have to quit wearing them. They last so well, and I usually get about two to two and a half years wear out of them before I wear the bottom out of the heel and have to buy another pair. I tryed the single layer first, and they didn't support my feet as well and my feet ended up hurting, but my feet never hurt with the double layers. I wear my Rainbows almost exclusively from about April to October every year. They do run very narrow, so if you are a woman with wider feet, I may recommend you order a man's shoe. I order my narrow footed pre teen son the women's (shhh don't tell him) and they fit him perfect. I wear a medium width, and they fit me fine, but barely, so I would imagine they would be too narrow for a wider foot, but since the men's and womens look exactly alike, no problem ordering the men's. I'd recommend anyone try them out...they are worth every penny, they will last a long time if you take care of them (even my son wears his for two years, and he started wearing them when he was in about 4th or 5th grade) and they have a life time gurantee that the tops will last as long as the bottoms...no more broken straps or a brand new pair of shoes for free! Just save your receipt and the tag from the shoes! Awesome shoes!

I purchased these for my mom who would buy cheap sandals. I would watch those cheap sandals tear or wear out very fast and hear her complain bout her feet. She is in her 70's and decided to buy two pairs of these ( two different colors). She loves them, but seriously who doesn't lover Rainbows!? I have been wearing Rainbows since I was 13 years old boy riding waves and now I'm in my late 40's still loving them.If you want a cushioned and arch supported sandal that will last a very long time, then purchase these.When you first put them on, they will feel hard and uncomfortable. That's normal, they are made from real leather and top graded materials. Give it about a week and they soften up and contour to your feet. You'll forget that you have them on, they are that comfortable.

I absolutely love rainbow flip flops. I have tried to buy cheaper, or more "fashionable" flip flops, but none compare. Either they break too quickly, are made with cheap material, or are gnarly uncomfortable.I have been wearing rainbow for years, i love the fit. They're pretty much true to size. If you have "thick" feet, they may be a little hard to get on at first. If your committed to keeping them get them wet and force them on and walk around for a bit.They are a little stiff at first, but they're leather and are made to form to your feet. Getting them wet is the besg way to help break them in. I have high arches, so i buy the double layer for extra support. I love that rainbow has that option, because a lot of flip flops have terrible arch support and i have a huge problem wearing them for extended periods of time. I have gone to many a theme park in these :).As for aesthetics, i think they have a classic CA Surfer vibe to them. I wear them with dresses, skirts, pants,shorts. Obviously not everywhere all the time, but i live at the beach so they're always on hand.P.s. My very first pair of rainbows lasted 4 years. How's that for longevity? Break it down overtime and that's a little more than $10/year for the $54 - $60 you pay per pair.

I love rainbow sandals. They look good and they last. This is my 4th or 5th pair in 20 years I think. They last several years with daily wear and they are comfortable since the leather forms to your feet. Which also means you get the right amount of arch support for you.

This is my second pair of rainbow sandals. The first pair I bought are the ones with a braid on the "outer" strap (Flirty Braidy Single Layer). I love those flip flops but I was supremely frustrated that the braided strap on one shoe would twist every time I wore them and I couldn't do anything to stop the twisting. For a while I actually wrapped clear tape around that strap and wore them only around the house. I finally got the idea to hot glue a narrow piece of ribbon to the underside of that strap and "voila", no more twisting. They are so comfortable that I decided to purchase this version with the wide straps. Both pairs offer very good arch support. I am giving this pair 4 stars because the toe post is very short and I am having a hard time breaking them in. The toe post is made of a wider grosgrain ribbon than on other flip flops I own so it rubs the area between my big toe and the second toe. On the other pair (Flirty Braidy) the toe post is wrapped in leather so no issue with rubbing. If you have feet that are a little "plump" this wise strap version may not be the best choice for you. I have narrow feet. I am hoping I will be able to break them in gradually so I can wear them for longer periods without the rubbing. Otherwise a nice looking sandal.

Rainbows are my favorite sandals of all time. I was finally forced to order a new pair after my pair of 6 years finally started wearing a hole in the sole.After the initial break in period these shoes fit and feel great.I highly recommend getting them wet (just splashed, not soaked) during the break in period to speed it up a bit.They did have a bit of orange color bleed on my feet when wet but it washed off fine.Hoping to get another 6 years out of this pair!
