A Perfect Sequel...
After providing a recap of what happened in the first book, we learn that Perfect is now known as Town and the townsfolk are enjoying their new found freedom from the rule of the evil brothers, the Archer twins. But a stolen bike and missing children reveal a sinister plot occurring in Town. With friendships being tested, new characters put into the mix, a zombie army, an intriguing mystery and a whole load of adventure, this is an excellent sequel written in the trademark Helena Duggan way. A delight to read and highly recommended. I can’t wait to see what happens next... a 5⭐️ read

Yet another Perfect book! (WARNING SOME SPOILERS)!
I thorougly enjoyed the first book so just had to read the sequel. Life is just fine after Violet and Boy saved Perfect from the manical rule of the Archer twins. Then mysterious robberies and kidnappings start happening and the finger of blame points at Boy. Then, out of the blue Edward Archer returns not as a villain but as hero. What is going on? Who is building mechanical zombies? Can Violet and Boy gain each others trust to save Town from the evil Archer twins again? This book is perfect forreaders 10+ and anybody who enjoys action and adventure books. Each character is as good as the other from thr sensible and brave Violet to the weird and evil Nurse Powick. However, my favourite is Macula (Boy's Mam) as she is depicted as a strong female character and will always put her needs behind Boy's and Tom's. Sadly she dies at the end of the book (SPOILER)

Omg soooo amazing
This was just as spectacular as the first. The first 3 chapters or so are quite boring but then the fun and mystery starts. A huge secret is revealed about Boy which explains a lot. If u r reading this right now then this book is absolutely amazing a full of tension. Loved it so much and cant wait to read the next. Recommended for ages 8-14!!!!!

Rushed
The author really took care with the first story and it was brilliant. 5 stars. The second book is just boring dialogue, nothing happens. Instead of showing and letting us immerse in the world, she just tells.Gave up after 3 chapters because it's clearly going nowhere and it was awful.

Creepy and PERFECT
This book is the darker, older brother to book 1 and it’s brilliant. You get the trademark creepiness (this is Perfect after all)! There’s new characters and old faces; old friends and new friends; a sense of unity that’s being battled and a speech that had me weeping!
