This sweet orange essential oil has such a bright, refreshing scent, it instantly makes my space feel clean and cheerful. I find myself using this Sweet Orange Essential Oil constantly. It smells amazing, absorbs quickly, stays fragrant for a long period of time, doesn't irritate the sinuses or lungs (and I've had pneumonia four times). Some of the uses: Hair: Mine is halfway down my back, very thick, and naturally curly. I use a quarter-sized amount in my hair every night before bed (avoiding the roots). I have an insane amount of very porous hair, so I don't recommend this to everyone. For me it has created silky, shiny, wonderfully fragranced locks that my SO goes crazy for. Skin: I added this to my inexpensive unscented body lotion from the grocery store. It smells so nice, fresh and NATURAL. It upped the moisture content of my cheap lotion yet somehow doesn't make my skin greasy! I use this oil straight up on my hands before bed. Again, I'm astounded at how quickly it's absorbed. My husband said he liked the fragrance of it better than my more expensive B&BW citrus-scented hand cream, which he liked a lot. I also put a few drops of this into some very cheap liquid hand soap from the store. It added beautiful aroma & took away the horrible drying-out effect of the soap without diminishing the cleansing needed. Home Fragrance: I took major cues from "Clean My Space" videos here. I replaced my costly, sinus-irritating Febrezed spray and scented candle-burning with this stuff. I put a few drops on the cardboard interior of a paper towel or toilet paper roll. I use it in a diffuser. I added it to sachets made of coffee filters filled with baking soda & tied with curling ribbon. I sprinkled a bit on a handkerchief and put the hankie in my suitcase to prevent that stale smell clothes take on when packed up. In short, this was some of the best money ever spent. The uses are endless & 4 oz. lasts a long time even with my very extensive use. I can't wait to try other scents by this brand.

I am very happy with this oil. I was a little apprehensive when I initially opened the bottle and took a whiff, but it smells great from the diffuser - like a room full of freshly cut oranges, without the sweet stickiness of some room fresheners. I wish that the manufacturer could have enclosed a better eye-dropper with the product but they did include a flexible plastic one that works just as well and helps keep costs down I guess. All other essential oil we purchased in the past are either rosemary, tea tree oil, lavender etc. and to be honest they smell terrible to my nose. They maybe more helpful for relaxing and providing results for medical or whatever but they just stinks! So we bought two bottles from Sun Essentials, one is the Orange (Sweet), the other one is Grapefruit which we are still waiting for. The Orange smells realistic and very enjoyable, we haven't purchased from other brands so we can't compare, but it smells way better than the other scents we used in the past! We have high expectation on the grapefruit one coming soon as well! The reason for 4 stars is the packaging, the glass dropper should be sealed in a plastic wrap or something instead of just put in the bare box for hygienic reasons. Otherwise it's a 5 star product.

Bought this to make my soaps and am extremely happy with it! Its smell is very potent, and is of great quality! I made the mistake of falling victim to marketing jargon other essential oil suppliers use to jack up the prices of their products, and purchased a 2oz bottle that was double the price of this one awhile back. I had a little left in the bottle when this order arrived and compared the two, and I actually found THIS essential oil to be of better quality & more true to smell. Best of all, I got double the amount for HALF the price. I will never be fooled by more expensive brands again. If you're looking for great essential oils sans the super inflated prices, look no further than this company! I'm very satisfied with all the essential oils I have purchased from them & will continue to buy from this company exclusively from now on. Okay orange scent but aura acacia orange essence has really a better stronger scent. I bought this one because it was double the size for about the same price but it's the old saying - you get what you pay for. I also agree with others that the dropper they included is ridiculously flimsy. What's worse is the plastic dropper for the bottle that they give you doesn't fit right on the bottle and so the first time I tried to use it , it came right off and I l lost more than a few drops lost almost a third of the bottle. So if you already have a bottle be very careful of that. I do recommend the 2 oz bottle of one mentioned above - great scent - top quality and I got it at Amazon. Another plus, is the excellent service that I got from Amazon as they refunded my money with no problem. It makes it a pleasure to do business with them because they do stand behind their products.

Truth be told I think any of the larger bottles of essential oils will never be as concentrated, and so not as aromatic, as the smaller sized bottles you see going for only slightly less (so these are still the better deal, drop for drop). I got into aromatic oils because a sampler pack and I really liked the sweet orange scent. When that bottle ran out I wanted more and thought these bottles were a good deal, but the problem is I just don't believe they won't be water down some in comparison to the smaller bottles. I got two bottles of this - my first order, and then a replacement order from the company - and although the second bottle was of a higher quality it still wasn't as potent as I would have liked. Additionally, despite being an essential "oil" I also found that as the water levels got lower in my diffuser the oil tended to mix in with the water in a way that it created a bit of a slimy mess that I had to clean out each day. However, the one positive I would say if you are on the fence with these oils in particular is that the company was very eager to supply a replacement bottle after my first batch was below my standard (although it did take about a week and a half for it to arrive). So, worst case scenario, if you find the oil is not really of the quality you would want you can rest easy knowing that this company at least wants to make sure you get the highest quality product.

Love the smell of oranges, and this essential oil captures that smell perfectly. I use it in the dryer on a cloth with water and a little vinegar instead of dryer sheets. You get a nice smell without the chemicals. It does stain the wet cloth but surprisingly so far not any of the clothes whether they're whites or colors or darks. I like it. I bought a dk. brown bottle which had its own eye dropper included at Bed Bath & Beyond, poured the sweet orange essential oil into it and it works perfectly, that way you can decide how much scent you want on your clothes. I do let the wet cloths sit in the water solution and soak up the essential oil in a small (I use glass) container before I even start the wash. I also bought a diffuser and after Christmas I intend to put the sweet orange oil in it for the rest of the winter months. Can't beat the smell of fresh orange to brighten a day.
