We ordered two of these jacks as decor for a new home office. They are a good solid, heavy pieces that look nice as a finishing touch atop a stack of books or on a coffee table. Good buy for the price.

Actually made of metal, with a slight rusty patina (doesn't stain furniture or anything). I keep it on one of my living room shelves, along with other lovely marina-themed decorations such as a sextant or a small telescope. Attracts heaps of compliments and looks very original.

It is a great piece. Color is as pictured and it has weight to it. Used on shelf on wall but could be a paper weight. Love it
