Great for the money
Solid cheap stand. It works. I've bought 5 in last 3 years.

Extremely portable, convenient, and solid
Extremely portable, convenient, and solid. I use this for off-site gatherings & love how neatly it folds up. I bought it because we were always forgetting to bring a mic stand to our gatherings. It's small enough when closed to slip into one of the bags that we use for our speaker stands, so it never gets left behind. It also weighs a fraction of what the round-base stands that we otherwise use weigh. It's stable enough to hold a mic steady even when fully extended. The length of the boom makes it perfect for lecturers of any height, whether seated or standing.

Less "heavy-duty " than expected
I thought this would last me at least 10 years. It only lasted less than 5 years of moderate use (about one gig every 10 days). It's pretty heavy, but that doesn't make it more durable. Threads on bottom part are broken. The part that connects the boom arm is wobbly now. And it lost one of the rubber feet.I'm looking for something better to replace this (shall I call it junk?)

After I showed him he told me he appreciated it but this was a poor quality stand as he had one before
I bought this for my boyfriend as a surprise when his broke on stage. After I showed him he told me he appreciated it but this was a poor quality stand as he had one before, but when it came in we set it up and it was perfect! Great quality, durable and looks very nice! So far we have had no issued and it has been used for over a month now! Would buy again.

Incredible product, not cheaply made!
I have no clue what the other reviewer is talking about when he says this is cheap metal and not stable. You definitely couldn't bend it by hand. This is really nice material, strong and stable. Worth every penny, minimal wobble.I'm using this to hold my phone above the piano all the way extended straight up. Doesn't wobble, great product.

Indistinguishible from trash
Yes, it is possible to tell the difference between this mic stand and, say, a Snicker's wrapper, but you have to have decent eyesight or be at close range. In all seriousness, this is a very inexpensive mic stand, and might be the only one this cheap that is made of metal. Before you buy it on that fact (as I did), remember that tinfoil is also "made of metal." This stand will remind you more of tinfoil than the quality mic stands you may have used. Don't expect the stand to be heavy or to stay put once set up; it weighs less than some of my mics. It gives the "I could bend this with my bare hands" feeling.Next issue: the paint on the threads binds with the mic clips you put on, and when trying to get them off, the entire thread tip of the stand twists inside the tubing that contains it. Unbelievable. I had to use pliers to grip the thread head just to get my mic off, and now the thread head is loose. For cheap stands, I've had a couple of lightweight ProLine stands that have lasted a few years, and dollar for dollar I think DR Pro stands are pretty great. My advice is spend $70 on a mic stand if you're planning to use it for more than a week. Two stars because it IS very, very inexpensive. Might be among the cheapest stands money can buy. And if you're going to put one lightweight mic on the end and never move it (or switch clips), I'd even recommend it. But if you're like me and put medium/large mics on a stand and move it from time to time, $30 is a lot to pay for a week's use out of a mic stand.

I donโt know how to review a mic stand other than it looks like it should look and it working like it should work.No issues...I recommend

Effective microphone stand.
I was in need of a quick replacement for my microphone stand. This.item shipped very quickly and is better than the one I had previously. The price was right and the quality is very good. This stand should last for several years. I highly recommend this product.
