Great Price and works like a charm!
I'd gotten a similar one (for free from Special K after saving box tops) but the plastic clip that attaches it to your waistband had broken. I love to walk and hated walking the "same ol' same ol" simply because I already knew the distance of the walk. After seeing this pedometer on Amazon, it seemed similar to my existing one with the broken clip. And, after getting it, I was thrilled that it was the same. You can measure in steps, miles etc. (I choose miles.) It's lightweight and discreet when I wear it. It's also accurate. I walked several paths where I already knew (from my old pedometer) what the distance was. This was pretty close. Obviously, your distance can very slightly depending on how big of a step you're taking etc. But, my old pedometer always showed around 2.8 miles and this pedometer showed around 2.75 for the same distance. Close enough! I love it!

Failed to work after a week.
When I first got it, I loved it, immediately seeing the count for steps and calories burn. But it kept falling off the waist band and now it doesn't work. Don't know if it's because of it, but after a week or so, it stopped working properly. It's stuck on zeros. My suggestion, is to tie in on you somehow. I'v had a couple of other brands that clip on at the waist as this one and they did the same thing of constantly falling off, but they never stopped working. This one did, unfortunatly.

unimpressed
I find it a little confusing. Having NEVER used one before. I can't tell if I'm looking at cal or steps or what there's no indicator to say hey this is the one your looking at. If the instructions were a little bit bigger to read and a little more helpful I would like it far better.I waited 3 weeks to get it granted I paid very little for it I guess the old saying holds true...you ge what you pay for.

Works good!
Works good for what I use it for.. Which is when I go running outside instead of on my treadmill. I don't use it often so maybe that's why it hasn't broke down on me. But regardless if it breaks I'll probably buy another one if it does because they're so cheap.

Quality of pedometer is poor
I ordered 20 pedometers to use in a wellness program at work. When they arrived, 2 were nonfunctional and have since been replaced. Almost ALL of the 20 pedometers have failed to function properly. Most of them reset themselves if the wearer sits down--our wearers were using them all day to calculate their walking during work day as well as offwork hours. One work team even withdrew from the project because the pedometer was so frustrating to use. They would walk a known distance ie 3 miles, and the meter would register 1. Some of them came up with a fourth reading which corresponds to nothing we can figure. I am truely dissapointed with the quality, accuracy and function. I would not recommend this product to anyone who is serious about monitoring their walking for their health. I wish I could get my money back, but that is probably a pipe dream.-

you get what you pay for...
so, as you obviously know, this is a cheap pedometer, so don't be expecting much.i took a star off because it often counts my steps as two or three. so you have to constantly make sure it is straight on your hip. also, if you can change the stride length, i haven't found it, so all the mile, km, etc. calculations are off... so i take the number of steps and multiply it by my stride length then convert it to miles to get the real number.it got here fast and in perfect condition. one day earlier than amazon said, even.

Love My Pedometer!
This Pedometer is perfect! The description of the item is exact, and the product itself is simple, light, useful, and works well! Not to mention the pricing on the item was absolutely awesome! I am very satisfied with it and definitely recommend it to anyone interested in counting their steps, and wanting to know how many calories they have burned throughout the day.
