All The Things in One!
This appliance is what I've been waiting for. I've held off buying an air fryer for a year even though everyone raves about them. I'm simply too cheap and my oven works just fine. But THIS! This thing is not only an air fryer but a rotisserie, dehydrator (mmm - jerky!) and a convection oven! What? No way! I will more than get my money's worth out of it! It's very easy to use with pre-programmed buttons for fries, a rotisserie chicken, meat and dehydrating. It isn't nearly as bulky as I thought it might be and can slide right under the cabinets where the toaster oven used to sit. This AFRDCO (Air Fryer, Rotisserie, Dehydrator, Convection Oven) comes with a rotisserie skewer to hold a chicken and also a rotisserie basket! There are two mesh trays for fries or pizza or fish/chicken strips. Or whatever! My only :( is that there isn't some sort of little "cookbook" or insert that says how to set up the chicken on the rotisserie skewer, ideas of things to go into the rotisserie basket or just a general "hey, look at all of this cool stuff you can cook in this thing!" insert with bulletpoints. A minor point, for sure, since one can always just search the interwebs for such information. (A rabbit hole I'm trying to avoid, thank you very much!) For "Flavor" I deduced one star because, let's face it, NOTHING will EVER be better than the taste of "fried in bacon fat". Nothing. I ended up ordering two of these because my brother went crazy when he saw mine and HAD to have one for his seafood feasts. The AFRDCO cannot be beat at this price! And Christmas is right around the corner. Would make an EXCELLENT gift for the "foodie" or the "I don't like to cook" on your list.

Really great "upgrade" air fryer
So I had a Ninja Air Fryer for almost a year (https://www.amazon.com/freidora-crujiente-deshidrata-capacidad-brillante/dp/B07FDJMC9Q/ref=sr_1_4?crid=27TYWXE4OXTV0&dchild=1&keywords=ninja+air+fryer&qid=1596646529&sprefix=ninja+air%2Caps%2C225&sr=8-4) that I liked quite a bit, but my mom wanted an air fryer and that one was a just a *tiny* bit small for my 2 person household, so I gave it to her. This one caught my eye because not only was it an upgrade in size, it can rotisserie! Why not? I've only tried it a few times with frozen chicken patties, fries (tasted comparable but better than fast-food!), hashbrown patties. I didn't think I'd care about the window (my previous was the closed basket style), but I REALLY love seeing the food cooking! It's fun and practical. I can't wait until I try roasting a chicken. I'll update if necessary. P.S. it is CRAZY quiet! The button interface is very user-friendly. Edited: October 11, 2020 I do have to say the rotisserie function is a little over-hyped. The "forks" are very much not user-friendly (it took me about 20 minutes to try to get the spit through the 2 square holes in each fork with the chicken skewered in the middle, and then chicken couldn't even rotate. It was a pretty small Costco whole fryer chicken. I don't know if it was too heavy (about 4.7 pounds), or the bird (tip to end) was too wide inside the fryer to rotate (maybe the inner edge levels weren't permitting the leg nubs to rotate), but quite frustrating! A few expletives were shouted! 😃 So, boyfriend took some tongs and man-handled the bird to slide it so that the leg nubs weren't so close to the inner wall and got it to rotate very slowly.

I really like this thing.
Everyone kept telling me they love their air fryer, so I wanted one. I became obsessed with finding the perfect one for me so after a month I settled on this one. First thing I made was berry crisp, threw the stuff together in a couple single serve bake dishes, set it to 350 for 40 minutes and it was perfect. No preheating, no heating the entire apartment, just perfect crisp. There were several complaints from other buyers who said there were missing pieces or their units didn't work, or initially worked and then stopped working. Mine came very well packaged, no damage, all parts included, so I have no complaints there but I understand if maybe some sellers are less thorough or trustworthy in regards to the products they provide. Some complained that it was loud. This is the most quiet kitchen appliance I have ever purchased, it makes less noise than my microwave. Also, I'm not quite sure why people complain that the drip tray isn't large enough, it's literally the same dimensions as the bottom of the unit, so any spill-over should land on the tray unless you're filling this unit over capacity somehow, not sure how that is possible. I also want to mention that although heat did radiate from the unit immediately around it, it did not heat up my kitchen and it stayed warm to the touch but it wasn't hot so despite baking for 40 minutes I was able to open the oven door with my bare hands. . . Anyway, I'm very happy, so far. This is only day one so I will come back and update. ***Update*** Sept. 25. . . 2 months after purchase: I’m still in-love with this item. No electrical issues, whatsoever. Looks like others have had theirs just outright die after working perfectly the first few days or month. Thankfully, that is not the case with mine. Others also reported the door not shutting properly or at all. This, too, has not been an issue. I’ve basically used this item every other day since it arrived. The only thing I will say is that there is definitely room for improvement. But, I’m just not picky enough to care, I am content in my complacency. For those of you who do care about such details: The temp is set in increments of 10 degrees, 5 would be better. Also, if you decide to stop cooking sooner than the time you’ve set it for, the unit never turns off like it would if the timer completed and it’s “finished.” There is no “clear” or reset button or even an on/off button, so if it bothers you that the screen doesn’t power down and displays the minutes remaining until you decide to use it again then you’re forced to just unplug the unit and plug it back in. And when the timer is done the “BEEP” is very loud and it will beep 5 times, no matter what, it will not be silenced until it has completed its beeps. But there is actually an updated model of this item so these features might be improved (although I have no idea) but it might be worth checking that newer model out if these would be issues for you. **8 month update** The plastic on the handle has cracked, but it does not interfere with the functionality and I am still in love. ** 2.5 year update, Jan 2024** Still works with consistent use!

I thought I was a good cook
Until I tried an air fryer. My first meal was fish-I am now a great cook! That was the best piece of fish I have ever made. It was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside...and it was just a plain piece of frozen cod. Wow! No batter, just a little creole seasoning mix. No warming up the machine, just put your food in and press the setting button and start. It was harder to clean the trays than I had imagined it would be, but the instructions said I could wrap the drip tray in foil, which I did and that was much easier to clean. Also, soak the trays immediately after using in hot soapy water. I was worried this item would get too hot on the outside of the unit, but it is no more than a traditional stove. I thought it would smoke or steam...none yet. I thought it would be loud, but it is about as loud as a fan running-I can even hold a conversation on the phone while standing next to it without any issues. Cooking times were less as well. AND lastly, I thought it would be just another gadget sitting on the counter collecting dust because I went back to using a traditional stove/oven. Well it’s only been a day, but I can tell I WILL use this for my personal baking and cooking needs. And use the traditional oven for larger meals.

Best Air Fryer Ever!!
My family has owned a number of air fryers and this has been my favorite by far! I purchased this as a gift for my mom because she was sad that our previous air fryer’s nonstick coating was starting to chip. She actually CRIED when I gave this to her, no joke. After 2 months of daily use, here are the things that made the Chefman Airfryer stand out: • 2 racks - she can now make twice the amount of food in the same amount of time! She loves putting veggies on the lower rack and meat on the higher rack so it gets nice coloring. • Racks vs. basket - while she loves the air fryer method, the basket was a nightmare. Not only would she get burned by the steep & hot basket, cleaning it was also a nuisance. The steel racks that come with this air fryer are easily removable, dishwasher safe, and they are just like an oven! Aka they make sense! • Is it on? - this air fryer is insanely quiet. We had gotten used to our air fryer sounding like a plane taking off! When we first got it, we wondered if it was even working. We touched the front and sides and noticed it wasn’t even hot! However, when we opened it, a wave of heat emerged and we realized this air fryer is just quiet, and it’s very good at keeping the heat inside. 🤩 • We can see our food! - there’s nothing like turning on the little light and peeking in to see how our meal is looking. This is especially nice because you don’t need to open a basket and disturb the air fryers air flow every now and then to make sure your food isn’t burnt! There are a million other things that make this air fryer great, but my fingers are tired now... hehe I recommend this item to anyone!

Great Air Fryer!
This air fryer was on sale so I thought now would be a good time to buy one as I’ve thought about trying this cooking method for a while. It is a fabulous piece of cookware! It works well, whether frying or baking. I have tried the dehydration option on banana slices and I loved it (it takes 8 hrs at 140°)! Shrimp, chicken and pork chops are a few things my husband usually grills, and they turned out perfectly from this machine. Love the window and light!! The two cooking trays and drip tray are so easy to clean. Now for the negatives (nothing to bring the five-star rating down). The print above each picture option is too small to read without a magnifying glass. The pictures are also very small. Like most things, the shell is plastic which helps it to be lightweight. However I can’t close the door without placing my other hand on the top to steady it. Knowing what I know now, I would still buy it, and it’s worth the full price, though I’m very happy I saved money when it was on sale. It’s been used for a month now and I hope it continues to be a five-star item!!

Everyday use - going strong for years!!
This thing is awesome. It's like a supercharged toaster oven. I can roast potatoes and carrots in 15 minutes. I can make wings with way less mess. I can make healthy fries. I can make the leftover pizza taste better than the when it was hot the first time. Pizza rolls are out of this world. We eat hot sandwiches for lunch now. In other words, the Airfryer is amazing. I haven't even used all the things yet, like the rotisserie stick, or the dehydrator, but so far it's been awesome. Only one drawback with this model, and that is the ear piercing beeps, 5 of them when the food is done. Ugh! Other than that, this thing has become a kitchen staple, don't know what I'd do without it! UPDATE 11/2023: You don't have an air fryer yet?? What's wrong with you?? Get this one. UPDATE 8/2024: Still?? Come on now. This guy is still going strong. On a gardening kick so we use it to dehydrate herbs and chilis. Sandwich them between the 2 racks so they don't blow around everywhere. I have also made chick rotiss with the rotisserie stick. It was amazing!! CLEANING TIP: Every couple years take all the screws off the door assembly, take it apart, and give it a good wipe down.

Door won’t close
Purchase this to use on our 30 Day Rd. trip, with great hope and anticipation. We decided to test it out a week before our trip and making homemade pizzas cooking chicken wings. We are really thankful that we did this before we went. Here are the results. It will cook the top tray first and quickest, the bottom tray will take a quite a bit longer to cook, and that was with both the pizza and the chicken wings. We brined are chicken wings and they came out excellent on the top rack. The bottom rack had to be placed on the top rack to finish cooking same thing with the pizza top pizza, it cooked quicker and faster than the bottom pizza. It’s doable not great but OK you just make the adjustment that halfway through you could rotate, the food so that maybe you could time it to get the food finish at the same time not ideal, but workable. The item was easy to clean, but here’s the problem. We wash the racks clean up the drip tray, and then when placing the trays back in the oven, for some reason it would not close matter what you did or tried, the door will not shut. This point we’re glad we tested out the oven before we went on our trip, after doing some research we saw that this was a common problem with this company . I don’t know why I didn’t see the reviews complaining about this before we purchased. Anyway so we sent it back. Therefore, I do not recommend this oven air fryer because it doesn’t do any good if the door can’t close and with the heating Issues of top rack versus bottom rack. You’re better off with another product. We decided to send for the Ninja DZ401 10qt. Haven’t received it yet but expect it today. I’ll review it soon, but expect it’ll be great!

Good Machine, a little small.
I bought this air fryer about 2 years ago and still have it. Pretty good overall. The dial is great, just turn it to adjust time and temperature. The presets are pretty accurate and good, and if need to be adjusted a few extra minutes or less heat, just turn the dial. Food comes out great, looks good too and is easy to use. I usually make 1lb of Wings and fries at the same time no problem... You can either make Wings for 2, fries for 2, or Wings/Fries for one. Downside is, the size is a little small to make a whole chicken as rotisserie. I'd say 1kg at most or the chicken will get stuck and not turn properly. Also, the handle (one of the most used and important parts of the machine) is made of cheap plastic and breaks. Chefman should've used something more durable for the handle. Overall, I would recommend this product, and if they ever decide to design this machine to be a little bigger inside (Fit more food) and better handle, it'll be a perfect machine for the single people out there, a must have.

love it
receive it 4 days after buying it so it's pretty fast, use it for the second time tonight, made chicken breast and fries, i use the basket for the fries, since they were cut in little square, it took at least 30 min to get them cook and brown (the preset setting is only 20 minute and they weren't brown enough so i had 10 min. (you can had time even if it's already working by turning the start/stop knob on the appliance.) As for the chicken breast even if it wasn't a whole chicken, you should use the roast setting especially if the breast are thick, it did stick a little bit on the rack, all you have to do is let it soak in soapy hot water for 5 min before washing it and then use a soft brush to clean it. The first time the basket was a little bit tricky and took a little bit of time to set it properly to make it turn. (i didn't cook them together cause the inside is not high enough for the basket and the rack to be place at the same time.) The first time i use it was to cook frozen corn dog, over the net, someone said to put it a 400F for 10 min but if you use both rack to cook more than 6, i suggest setting the timer to 15 min so you won't have to take the bottom one and switch it with the first. i put 4 stars for easy to use since it took me sometimes to put the basket in place so it can turn. Be careful the side of the unit can become hot to touch same thing where the start/stop nub is. You don't have to wait until the time ends if you see that what you put in is cook enough, you just have to open and close the door to make it stop and then unplug it.
