Amazon Basics Daily Planner and Journal, Soft Cover, 8.5 inch x 11 inch, Black

This is my first review and it is because this planner is perfect. First off, it feels perfect... the size, the pages. It is designed perfectly... whoever designed this got inside my head. It has exactly what I need and nothing more. I also like that it has three ribbon book marks and that they are all simply black. I hope this is available again in July when I need a new one.

People are complaining about this planner only covering 6 months but if you read the description, it tells you that's what you're getting!I actually really appreciate this planner's format a lot. The monthly spreads are at the beginning, you have a section in the middle with a weekly spread and then you have pages at the back for daily. There are three ribbon bookmarks to help you quickly find the space that you want to work in.I'm excited to use this planner in 2025 to help me stay on track with all of the busy things that the year brings my way. If you like to have an "at a glance" option but also some space for in-depth planning and reflecting, this may just be the planner for you.

The media could not be loaded. PROS: For those who aren’t too hard on planners, this is a fantastic value. I couldn’t find anything comparable within ten dollars of this price. The planner has a lot of similarities to goal type planners like Panda and Fox but without the cutesy inspiration and bullet style kind of vibe, so it’s great for those of us who like the goal model but want to be able to use something in the office that does not have a cutesy panda on the corner of the page. It’s basic, functional, and professional looking.CONS: If you are hard on notebooks and planners, this is not the one for you. It has an incredibly thin almost paper-back like cover and I suspect that the binding and glue isn’t going to withstand being tossed in a backpack or shoulder bag for very long. It works great for a tidy briefcase, or those who would use it mainly on a desk top but it’s not as sturdy as the other planners I’ve mentioned. The other con for me is the thin pages. If you are a gel pen or felt pen lover, the pages are too thin for you, the ink will 100% assuredly bleed through. If you color prioritize, you’re gonna need to use colored pencils instead. Pens are not your friend here unless you stick to the classic Bic.As others have mentioned, it might also be a good fit for those who are just starting out planning with this model and don’t want to start with a 40 dollar planner. Hopefully this helps you make a better purchase decision.

I just decided to try this planner, and I'm glad I did!! The layout is quite good for a daily planner of this type and size, and the blank dates make the planner very versatile. I love that it's all bound into one book, and the ribbon page markers for each section (month, week, day) function surprisingly well! There's enough space even in this page size to keep track of a lot of information, and the pre-printed squares make it easier to organize your thoughts. There's an expandable rear pocket, an elastic cord, a modest amount of room for contacts and websites, and a decent number of blank note pages in the back. Best of all, it's thoughtfully designed at a great price. The planner has proven durable so far, and I look forward to filling it!One note: this planner is actually only for six consecutive months. I'm not sure this info was in the description, but it's totally worth it.

Honestly, I wasn't looking for anything super fancy. I just needed a planner to keep track of most things. This planner is undated, and put in the order of Monthly overviews, a weekly reflection, and your daily schedule (1 day per page) after all that. Some may not like the undated format and the order of the contents, but I actually quite like it. Sure, it's a little more work, but it works for someone who wants to pick it up at anytime. If I miss a day, I won't feel like I'm wasting pages. I can just keep going without leaving blank pages no matter the month. I used to use the Self Planner, and as great as it was, I found they would put the daily pages between each overview of the month. So, if you do nothing on the weekends, or happen to have a month that has less than 31 days, I would waste all those pages.Yeah, the planner doesn't feel super sturdy, but I only need this to last for 6 months. After opening it flat to write in it once, I can tell the spine is already coming off a bit and the glue isn't really doing its job. The pages are quite thin, but considering it's for 6 months and it's very thin and light, I don't mind it at all. It's also not the prettiest, but again, not really looking for aesthetics. Also it has telephone/address pages that I kind of find unnecessary, especially since most of us just put that info in our phones.It's simple enough, has what I need, and should do the job for a decent price.

Sturdy and exactly what I needed for tracking my daily workload. No bleed through pages with sharpie gel pens. Not 12 months, but good for half the year.

This was very disappointing to receive. It was misleading and only had 7 months in the planner. the setup was not user friendly at all. It has about 7 calender months at the beginning, then a weird section to do a weekly planner set up and it just did not jive well at all. If you like 12 months in your planner or like your week pages to line up with the month you are on- this is NOT the planner for you! I tried this one to save some money from the name brand one I wanted. But lesson learned, going to the name brand one I want.

Absolutely love! I’ve been through several planners, expensive as well; this is the best one! Simple colors! I’m on my 5th one, using these for over 2 years! Perfect way to break down lists, goals, and duties for work, school, home, and personal life! Good quality, easy to pack everywhere and keep track of daily tasks! great size! Highly recommend!
