(A lot of problems and failures along the way). Thermal cards are the best way to go (no ink), and this model has lasted the longest. It prints time and date and month. I do not think it will auto reset time, but is very easy to reset (requires a key to access). The main thing is it works reliably. Only draw-back is writing on the glossy finish of the cards.
